Would there be a case where someone might come here and tell a story of meeting someone from here and how happy they both are and others might think they dont deserve it? Isnt this something all Earthlings deserve?

He is indeed "something special".

I consider myself to be very fortunate: first to have been graced by the friendships of people like you here and then most especially to have been found by him.

Now I know I am worthy of being His and being worthy has brought me such wonderful gifts.

What may seem mudane to anyone else: the task of making a cassarrole for lunch using only what I have on hand is an effort of appreciated creativity and a source of amusement when my housemate ate most of it for dinner the night before.

My world is a brighter place with His presence, made brighter still by my bring Him joy.

Long ago (in the 70s)
and far away (in Detroit)
a wise and open minded religious man (stoned hippie in a naru jacket)
told me that when I reached enlightenment, I would truly understand how the "little things in life mattered".
His girlfriend (stoned slut in tie died T-shirt-dress)
immediately quipped (actually it was several minutes, but we were all stoned so it seemed faster)
that the "little things only matter when you have love".

. . . I committed it to memory as "When the little things in life matter enough to bring you joy, you are leading a balanced and fulfilled life".

I am truly glad you are fulfilled enough to enjoy your casserole and your housemate as much as you do.

Thank you VAA.

It has been almost a year since I first wrote this.

We are still together.

I just had the loveliest of birthdays when He took me to the Mystic Aquarium in CT and I got to see Belugas!

I still prefer real to perfect, even with the hard work and messiness of real.

I love that we both have the ability to amuse each other, although He is often most amused by the very personal intimate things that happen within the context of "play".

What I have learned in these 2+ years is that I discover that submission is something that does grow.
That the depths of it are something that I still can't really fathom and I love the expansiveness of that.

My submission is very specific to Him and that is what makes it special for both of us.

Congradulations! I met finally the right guy for me 3 years ago too! We are going to be getting a ring and engaged this January. I never thought that I'd meet the right guy either Funny thing was the first time we met was at my first Nimhneach and even though I rejected him that night the next time I saw him we played again together and kissed each other. It was kinda mad coz I touched his cheek with my handing coz I wanted to feel his skin!! He said to me Now if you do that again I'm going to kiss you and I was really amazed at myself as next mintue I wiped his face again and he pulled me to his chest and kissed me and my foot went up in the air!! He was such a great kisser!He for me is a perfect Master and I'm his sub/slave and I've learnt so much from him! He's a great guy and I feel extremly blessed to have found him at all as that was something I never thought I would ever do!!!So well done to you and your guy again and to anyone else who's just found their great partner as it's hard to do!

Thank you!

It has now been over 3 years.
It is still full of discovery for me.
Each time feels new and fresh.
Each night before "His day" I am in that near sleepless kids-before-Christmas state.

I surprise Him when I cook: shrimp tacos last week, and He surprises me all the time.
Several weeks ago I was in the shower and He presented me with wildflowers that He had picked.

And in June, amidst His apologies that He wasn't "good at that kind of stuff", He was with me while I waited to have my gallbladder evicted on an emergency order and was there when I woke up.

People often come here looking for perfect.

Perfect has a way of unraveling.

We like real- even with all of it's uncomfortabilities.
