Our beer may be warm, Otters, but at least no-one this side of the pond would get one blade of malt or hop, throw it into a lake and call the result 'beer'. ;-)

Actually P, I agree with you for the majority of the "American beers" - Bud, Coors, Michelob...bleh...drinking those is like having sex in a canoe...it's fucking close to water!

Now we do have a number of specialty made microbrews, including right here where we live with the New Belgian Brewing Company, and there are some fine hand crafted beers made.

You guys over there have had 600+ years to make and perfect beer...we are 400 years behind and catching you up!

Well, it gave me a tiny smile when I first read it. It was probably said better than that, admittedly.

I don't think our beer is any great shakes, strength-wise, by the way. You don't so much drink German beer as eat it. Evil stuff.
