ORIGINAL: LadyHibiscus Yanno that's true, for a while we were experimenting with adding the wellbutrin and it was the generic, no problem. My doctor says that there is no generic XR, but it is no big deal. I am reassured, and thanks to those who wrote offline! [:)] DarlingSavage, I have bad brain chemicals! Yes, I hate being fat, but I hate the idea of being essentially non functional much more. If I were diabetic, I would be taking insulin, I have serotonin problems, so I take this. I wish every day that I could throw that bottle away, believe me. Finding the right antidepressant is indeed a crapshoot. Prozac about killed me! Astounding stuff. I was in a CAR ACCIDENT and had exactly zero adrenaline response. I could have been a bomb defuser on that stuff! I didn't think I could live without it, but it was making me crazy. I would start crying for no reason just anywhere. And if I missed a single dose, I was completely non-functional. I finally decided to just get off it. I did and I did it without a doctor and I haven't been depressed like that since. Or even very much at all. I'm back to my normal self that can get depressed in response to certain occurrences, but I"m not just walking around depressed all the time. Exercise also has a lot to do with it, too.
