i do think that it's interesting that the women on this thread who have chosen to wear heels for their own fun and enjoyment haven't been chastised for being "dangerous." But when a woman chooses to obey her Master - whom she trusts - with her body, there's a need for warnings.

i have hurt my knee in yoga class. i have fallen while jogging down a steep hill and almost broken my leg. Heck, i fell off a chair i was standing on at a friend's house while trying to help her rescue a gecko that became trapped inside. Physical activities involve risk. The only difference here is that i was choosing to take risk for someone else - my Master - than simply for "myself."

For me, and my dynamic of absolute obedience (that results from absolute trust) i see no greater risk in wearing shoes that my Master asks, than in any other risky physical activity i might undertake. And it is a process of physical learning - for example, skiing...no one can ski on day one. Anyone can fall and break his/her leg at any time while skiing. But over time, skills improve, and greater risks can be taken - including the wearing of shoes. i can now wear heels much better than i ever could before, and i am grateful to my previous Master for that.

That is my only point. Each of us has to make the decisions regarding our own bodies, and of course, if a limit needs to be set, or a boundary created, in order to maintain personal safety and comfort level, then i am fully in support of that. This is simply what works for me.

I see a big difference between wearing shoes and deciding to "take the pain" and someone else deciding that you should take it, to the point of incapacitation. i never advocated going this far with things - and neither would have my previous Master. i said stilettos 24/7 are hard - and i meant it.

The art is in the balance, for all parties. It's hard to convey in a written medium when you can trust someone else and their common sense for you. But that is the type of trust that i have. Again, this is simply what works for me.

The point of difference here that i am trying to make is not about the amount of damage inflicted - it is the amount of trust, and risk, a person is willing to take, with someone else. What is the difference between "taking the pain" for myself, or for him? For me, there is no difference.

No, my previous Master would never have allowed such damage to occur as is in your photo. But yes, absolutely, people should be warned against those who might not care if it did.

Wow. I can't believe all of the controversy over high heels especially with all of the different kinds of risks many of us take with our partners.
To me, this is something I wouldn't even give a second thought to.
If he wanted me in heels every day, I would. It's that simple.

Status: offline 		I think the best revenge to the "request"of wearing heels ... especially stilletto type, is how absolutely slow I have to walk in them.  I simply cannot walk at a normal pace.  So I am silently amused at how I get to see my Dom  has to A.  keep walking ahead and then has to stop to wait for me to catch up, B. has to walk as slow as I do, or  C.  Just walks ahead and keeps going.  It's always interesting ... just because of some shoes !!

My last dom would never slow down to compensate for my slow gate when I wore heels. He never ordered me to wear them though, and he bought me lots of shoes... mostly flip flops, sneakers, and vans... because these were functional for walking in and he thought a walking sub is a happy sub (at least in my case this is correct)

Oh I can believe Aileen. lol...remember where we are. Passive agressive central. Sure, staple my tits to a board, pee in my mouth, remove a nipple or two, but heels? Safety police!

Julia, seriously. Did you have to put up a picture of the deformed club footed bunion infested crone feet to realy let us know how fucking simple and stupid we are to wear heels.? Sometimes this is just so ridiculous I can't even believe I respond to it.

I have worn the things for almost 3 decades, and I don't have as much as a hangnail. My Nana is 87 and still wears heels, not 4 inches *duh* but heels. She did wear a much higher one until she hit her 70's. If you want to post a picture of the most grotesque example you can find with no link, no article, and no reason other than to prove...something, not sure what, don't expect it to get taken all that seriously. I don't anyway.

I have seen pictures of foot binding in China that looked less hideous than that picture Julia. Leaping to the ridiculous and extremely unlikely outcome to serve your own purpose is so well...not conducive to getting many takers I don't think.



Edited to add the link to your picture is found by googling "Bunions, Mayo Clinic." It has no article, no relevance and no mention of this being caused by wearing heels. Check it out.

Status: offline 		Pretty much. For the past two weeks it has been back to the "slavier slave" contests or the "passive aggressive insecurity challenge parade". Which is worse? I don't know. Both are irritating.

I mean, voice an opinion and vultures hurtle down like meterorites, flock together and shred your bones because you don't agree with them. I entered the "Daddy Dom" thread, you would have thought I said Christ was a pedophile pimp by the pages of snark I got for suggesting that some women might call their men Daddy and *holy shit* we all don't applaud. I came back two days later to people still engaging in mutual congrats on their openness and groovy Daddy Dom dynamic while calling me a bitch for not falling into subblie line with them. Of course, no names were mentioned. Because that would be not nice right?....

i truly don't try to be a "slavier slave" than anyone else - my attempt (and you guys can tell me if i'm failing) with my posts is simply to share my experience, and thought process, and what my development has been as a slave. If it helps someone else, or gives them something else to think about, then great - otherwise i'm happy to just have been able to share.

And the reality is i'm not owned right now, so my posts should be taken as they are. When i'm owned again, who knows, they may change again, entirely.

But i'm happy - and i want everyone else to be too!! *stamps foot*

Ur, don't take it personally. I think a couple of people here make conflict because it validates them. I tend to feel rather sorry for them rather than worrying about what they think. I adore your posts, please keep them coming. Anyone with half a brain can see that YOU don't ever begrudge others for being different than you and are merely stating what works for you. You're welcome to drink with us too!

Status: offline 		One Halloween, I wore heels to several parties. Seemed like I spent the whole weekend in them. Wearing flats to work on Monday was mildly disorienting, like the feeling when you get off a boat.

You are a doll Unique. It is just ridiculous that this is a forum for adults that engage in BDSM activities, illegal stuff in most states, and here we are swiping and snarking over footwear. If you think your feet are going to look like the hobbit in the photo, ok, wear birkenstocks. Kind of simple really. I don't need to be reprimanded repeatedly for pining over Prada pumps..
