While you might be sarcastic in your food remarks, taste buds do change over time and what you disliked many years ago might not be so anymore. You indeed might need to find a chocolate that you like or a new eggplant recipe that excites your taste buds in a different way :)

I keep TRYING the foods I don't like, I have developed a liking for many things that way. Eggplant, zucchini, and cauliflower remain on the ICK list, along with bitter flavours generally. Also, most offal. Liver is okay, kidneys BLECH.

Eggplant I love, I love spicy food and in general don't like sweets very much, but chocolate for me is vile, whenever I tried to be polite and force it down, I ended up getting violently sick, it could be simply that my body doesn't tolerate cocoa. Same goes for most types of red meat, but that is due to my enzymes, I can't properly digest them and end up sitting there, dazed, bloated and sick.

YAY, Missokyst!! Rayray, if I am at the Tunnel BBQ, I am having BBQ!!! The diner here in Rochester does excellent liver, which I indulge in once or twice a year. I do not huddle with just ANYONE, Peon... who else are we inviting to the kumbayah hootenanny?
