I presently have poppy who came from southeast Bloodhound resue and was incredibly shy due to abuse about 9 years ago. (she has made up for it and is now a 100+ pound lapdog) and butch who is half yellow lab and half whatever jumped over the fence (also a rescue dog). If I can figure out how, I'll include pix. (butch is 45# at less than 5 months so he's gonna e HUGE).

OH! What a SWEETIE!

Mistletoe -> RE: PetsRus (8/20/2010 8:06:55 PM)

He was a rescue also. He was about to be dumped in the desert when I got him at 4 mos old. One look at that face and it was love. Here he is ready to go for a drive....:)

Awesome!

I have Max - a border collie mix, about 2, who is very laid back, from a beagle rescue of all things!  He is very smart, and knows exactly what he has done wrong when he gets the "eye".
I also have Nannerpuss, who is a 6 year old siamese, another rescue, who has feline  HIV, so is an inside cat.    And the furbunnies abound , especially in the corners on the hardwood. [:D]

Looks like he's off to the coffee shop for a latte then to the bookstore to get a copy of  Nietzsche's greatest hits.  lol

LadyPact -> RE: PetsRus (8/21/2010 12:09:44 PM)

It took Me a few to find it, but there was another thread recently where folks were showing off their pets.  http://www.collarchat.com/m_3315703/tm.htm  Some really cute shots were included, too.  I thought folks might enjoy seeing it.

Icarys -> RE: PetsRus (8/21/2010 12:51:14 PM)

The link is broken, Pact.

KariCloud -> RE: PetsRus (8/21/2010 1:15:56 PM)

The link worked fine for me, clicking on it brought me to the other thread from last month.
Here's a link direct to that first post: http://www.collarchat.com/fb.asp?m=3315703 maybe that will work for you?

I love it in the fall and spring when I use the attic fan and the furbunnys swirl in a circle underneath it in the hallway....

JstAnotherSub -> RE: PetsRus (8/21/2010 1:21:44 PM)

Shoot!  My edit timer ran out.  The link that KariCloud provided was the one that I intended.  Apologies for any confusion.

This one worked.

Lats Nala is absolutely beautiful. I'm partial to Sheps though.

Thanks for the try.

Not sure how I missed that thread.
Niceeeeee, just looked at all 10 pages worth of pictures. Great collection of wonderful animals. Thanks.

Viktor Petrovsky.  Rescued from the shelter 2 years ago.  Was so emaciated he could hardly stand, and could not meow (only air came out).  His fur was extremely thin, and he was covered in fleas and grease.

Now he's a happy, thriving stinker who gets into everything.  And I love him to death. [:)]

This is my favorite picture of him but it always comes out tiny.  I hope it shows here ok...

What an awesome pic!  Makes me want to call him Pierre or something LOL

LadyHibiscus -> RE: PetsRus (8/22/2010 12:04:00 PM)

I am living vicariously through other cavyslaves. FB makes that fairly easy, and I can click before I start crying.

The grey parrot is the love of my life. Which is good, since he is a parrot, and hopefully we have another 25 yrs or so together.

Mistletoe -> RE: PetsRus (8/22/2010 1:21:34 PM)

Here is my other buddy. That is Bobcat when he as so little. When I rescued him he could sit in a tea cup.
