My two cents on this subject:
As a professional in any field, one gets paid a certain fee. If someone trains, and becomes a professional Dom/me or sub, then they should be able to collect a fee. The reason many call it a tribute, in my experience, is due to the jealous and hateful nature of humankind, which chooses to view women with sexual control over men as whores. No Pro I have ever met has engaged in sexual activity with a paying client, however due to cases filed against other Pro's, calling it a fee can land one in court, regardless if the charges are unfounded. It only takes one person to wreck a Pro's business, and it's often due to the low self-esteem of oneself .
Sad that some people let their own fears blind their judgement, but thats the way the cookie crumbles.

I dont mind if she asks for a tribute. Pro dom or not. Its only fair, after all she's invested herself in your little fantasy, so why shouldnt she get something for the efforts?

Lets look at this realistically for a moment...

So you're saying that a sub, should have the domina provide all the 'toys' and equipment, playspace out of the goodness of her heart without compensation? Or contribution?

Most people have not won the lottery, and simply cannot afford to do that.

Bless your heart EBG, the amount of times that you stated and restated this issue boggles my mind, I gave up 3 pages ago.

You are are 100% right slaves that are moved to divest themselves of all power , naturally and easily give up their money to thier owner, however that is 1001 miles away from a domina that demands or even asks nicely, for tribute to meet for coffee.
