I'm not talking regular snoring. I'm talking plaster cracking, neighborhood kids starting rumors of noctournal, prehistoric beasts snoring.

What do you do?

My husband used to snore so loud it sounded like a freight train rumbling through the house.

I made him go see a dr. Turned out he had sleep apnea and was given meds and was told to use a machine at night that would help him to stop snoring. Unfortunately he refused to take the meds or use the machine so most nights I ended up sleeping on the couch.

My first suggestion...see a dr.
Second suggestion....alternate bedding on the couch.

My ex snored like a chainsaw.

He was pretty good about rolling over if I gave him "the tap" - he only snored when he was on his back. He also had some medical conditions that led to the snoring.

It wasn't a big deal for us, he wanted me to be able to sleep so he didn't mind if I asked him to roll over. And I just learned to sleep through the snoring as well.

I can't recall ever seeing horrendous snoring as a hard limit. But then again...we all have different tolerance levels.
I wouldn't mention it until you are certain there is an interest in intimacy with her.
Im more concerned about you not following the Dr's suggestion.
Isnt that machine pure oxygen? (which has many more benefits then curing sleep apnea)

See your doctor.

There's all sorts of mild things it probably is.

There are a couple of not so mild things you need to make sure it isn't.

One possible answer is for your partner to sleep with ear plugs. Not the best solution. But I can tell you from experience it does work.

Daddy snores, he has a deviated septum, and he's over weight. Snoring can be from sleep apnea, so I'd encourage them to see their dr, have a homesleep study test done on them, if they wouldn't do that, there's really nothing you can do about it getting addressed. I slept in another room for a time because his snoring was so awful an he kept me awake. Eventually had it not calmed down on it's own I would of made him sleep somewhere else, and that's not very subby like some people will say, buri say toughtitty.

daddy snores so loud I could still hear him and the earplugs hurt and bothered my ears, so for me sleeping with ear plugs didn't/won't work for us.

I can't sleep with one of those machines either. They only use oxygen with them in the most severe cases. When I had live in gril friends and snored to loud I slept on the couch or spare bedroom

Actually that is fairly common. People also complain they can hear their own heartbeat when wearing ear plugs. I wear them at work about 50% of the time so I am used to them. They make many styles and kinds. If the foam ear plugs are too unfomfortable you might try wax. You can find them at your local pharmacy. The wax ones are made for swimmers who get ear infections from the water. Its a soft wax that will not put pressure on the ear canal like the foam ones do. Just another possibility.

Topping, you have part of it. I'm an ex wrestling coach and that, combined with some other martial arts. means my nose has been broken a half dozen times or more. I'm also 20# or so overweight. I don't the latter is it because when I was in training at 3% or less bodyfat, I STILL snored really LOUD.

Now there's a boy who understands that talking about a Mistress' bad habits in public might not be a good idea.  LOL.

Hill, I actually do snore.  If I am extremely tired or I'm congested, it can be worse.  Combine the two and those who are light sleepers may want to give Me a nudge.

Yes, folks who have shared sleeping quarters with Me have mentioned it.  Thankfully, Mine isn't too bad under normal circumstances if there isn't something else at play.

Hill,
Do you snore when you sleep on your back only? Just a curious question. Many people who snore do so while sleeping on their backs. If you can learn to sleep on your side it might eleviate or lessen the problem. I know that it is much easier said than done. Just another suggestion.

Earplugs have always worked like a charm for me. And a little "help" getting to sleep, like a beer.

poise, you made me smile
