Haven't turned on the result show yet....but from what I saw there....Scotty should be playing ball with his boys any day now.Seven comes eleven....but it was craps for Scotty last night, Now watch the voters make a liar out of me.[:)]

Cool...I didn't really want to see Scotty go quite yet, because I want him to kick it up and do something else, not go down croonin'. I'm glad someone besides me likes Haley....she's got some pipes and she knows how to use them! Are we having a Dancing with the Start thread? Cause I like some of what's going on over there this season, espcially Mark Ballas & Chelsea's "Enchanted" dance. It was awesome!

At the risk of repeating myself.....the only remaining suspense attached to this years competition is who gets to lose on the last show to James Durbin. That covers the overview...as for tonight's show Jacob should not feel too comfortable,not that he was bad or anything like that....just seemed a little flat to me...and this is a talented group....flat just doesn't cut it.

It was James night to shine and he sure lit up the sky! Like the judges said he's be the only one consistent throughout. And dayum but I really didn't realize how cute Scotty was until they did that close up of him tonight. Jacob can go home tomorrow night, I won't be bothered by that in the least. Sorry Jacob fans!

I am totally team James. I loved him since day one and I think he deserves to win. His voice rocks the house. I like the others but James is it for me. He reminds me a bit of Adam Lambert, who I also adored from day one and he lost out to whatever his name is.

I just cannot believe that Jacob stayed and [dammit name blank here] was voted off. His voice, his musicality, his range, he was the whole package. There's a damn good reason the judges used their veto power early in the finals. It was a good call. Tonight just sucked. But I still say James has got it and is going all the way, I see Hailey second. At least I hope that's the way it goes.

Casey is a complete musician...his career will be fine,but this decision sucks...this isn't,strictly speaking,a talent show as much as it is a popularity contest.Jacob survived...but that don't mean he's better [:)]

I've always had a theory with viewer call-in voting that everytime someone gets voted off a show, those voters will shift their votes to the next contestant who has the most similar style as the one that got voted off. Since Casey is the closest to "rocker" of the group that's left, if my theory holds true, most of those votes should shift to James, or to Jacob, since Casey's got a lot of the "heartfelt soul" thing going on, too. Or, since it's now rumored that Casey and Haley have a "thing" going on, maybe his votes will go to her. When Scotty goes, his votes will probably go to Lauren....or vice versa. Or, Lauren's votes would probably to go Haley..... Meh...just early morning rambling :)

Stay tuned for the sing off tomorrow night. Should be interesting. And yup, Casey will make it on his own. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if he got a contract from his appearance. Hope for his sake he does, I'd love to be one of the first to buy a CD he came out with.

Okay,it is time for Jacob to exit stage left(or right,I don't really give a shit)based solely on last nights performances....and having nothing at all to do with my uncomfortabilty with his sashaying stage presence...he needs to go.The rest are simply better than him....after that our little 16 year old female country star can take her leave...having done way better than anyone should have expected from anyone so young Leaving Scotty and Haley to figure out which one of them gets to lose to James.He rocked his first tune last night(had anyone ever heard that Jason Leto song before...I certainly hadn't)...than did the ballad tear jerker for an encore...and despite what Randy said to Haley as she closed the show....James second number was the highlight of last nights performances.
