I missed part of Jacob's 2nd song last night, but just the thought of him singing anything by Nazareth is enough to want me to drive a stake thru something. The little bit I did hear was atrocious and he damn well better go tonight, I think it was "Love Hurts" but you sure as hell couldn't tell. James really rocked out his first song and choosing that Nillson song as his 2nd had me tearing up. The man can sing his way through a wet paper bag any day of the week. That it was so close to his heart made it all that much more special. GOOOOOOOOOOOO JAMES.

The voters are calling it well. To me, Jacob was starting to sound like cat-in-heat-claws on a chalkboard. Bye bye Jacob, Lauren's next, then Scotty. It's going to be a kick-ass final, reminiscent of Carrie Underwood & Bo Bice. I love Haley more every times she sings. That girl has pipes and the balls to go with it. Whether she wins or not, she's my pick.

Yeah, I was really disappointed that the voters voted off every single one that had any uniqueness, Casey, Jacob, James, Haley.....boring, mainstream, been-there-done-that won out. Although Scotty is a nice kid, out of the two who were left, I'm glad he won. But one song by him and I'm yawning. I've already decided I'm not watching next year. I'll stick with Dancing with the Stars, lol.

Nah,still the best show of it's type on tv..but at the end of the day it is important to remember that this same American public kept the A Team a top rated show for 8 plus years.In other words ,Americans have no fucking taste...lol.

Okay,we obviously need to work on comprehension here...no one is blaming Americans for the show,which as previously stated...I happen to like...what I was taking the American public to task for was their lack of ability to judge talent....which was why I cited the A Team.....what further proof is needed that Americans have no taste?[:D]

I really wish the top 2 and been Hailey and James. But, it's the voting public and there ya go, we ended up with Scotty and what's her name (mudbrain today) [>:]. At least it was Scotty that won, though the choice that was made as his first single isn't that crap-hot. Although his duet with Tim McGraw (and that man could eat crackers in my bed anyday) was pretty good. James was awesome with Judas Priest and having Hailey sing with Tony Bennett was a great choice for her. Well, guess next year I'll just go back to what I've always done, watch the first few episodes for the auditions and forget about the rest. I haven't really watched it since season 1, except for the auditions, but this year, they did have a great group which is why I watched it til the end.

Okay,I still have access issues(need to buy a new laptop....money issues suck...lol)Scotty as the winner doesn't absolutely suck...but I still stick to my earlier stance Durbin was the ,head and shoulders,most talented singer in the competition.....all good though...it is nothing more than a popularity contest.....that and entertainment.Nothing more,nothing less and as such it was a screaming success. See you all next year.
