ORIGINAL: ThatDamnedPanda What's the difference between someone who isn't insured taking an unnecessary ambulance ride to the hospital and never paying for it, and someone taking an unnecessary ambulance ride to the hospital and making the state pay for it? Sssshhhhh... as long as the bill's hidden... Where've you been?!!??! Stay!!!!! Don't go!!!!! Ditto! (can't believe I just use that word) Uh, pretty much any legislation has bugs in it, Maybe. It has to be tweaked after passing it. You know, "We won't know what's in it until; after we pass it"? Which the righties once again showed their idiocity by deliberately misunderstanding. Anyway, you don't throw the baby out with the bathwater. When I was building lab equipment at Shell to run experiments for displacing oil with alkaline floods (which we later scaled up to a real injection/sampling well system in White Castle, Plaquemine Parish LA)(which meant my work was good... a good feeling), I had to constantly tweak things. I'd even come in at 3 in the morning, to make sure things hadn't imploded, and to make sure my filming system (very cool Ikegami camera) was working right. You pass the legislation, then come back and adjust it. The stupid right-fucks just want to repeal everything if there's a bump in the road. Of course, that what their corporate masters tell slaves like you to want.
