Deceptively simple and evil little device.  29" of 1/16" stainless steel cable with a stainless bead epoxied to each end to prevent fraying and add a bit of "pop".  Can be held at one end for a vicious whip, held by both ends for a stinging loop, or held by the loop for a double-ended sting.  Not to be taken lightly, I may eventually plasti-dip this to make it a tad safer.  Other variations are in the planning stages.

Stingy little flogger, this is five staggered strands of 1/16" stainless steel cable, each tipped with a stainless bead.  Fairly short overall, this is a bit safer than the last toy but still delivers a very impressive sting.  Rubber handle and steel hanging eyelet.

Also, if anyone wants a parts list or more detailed description, just ask.  I enjoy creating and helping other create new toys.  I'm like a demented, evil Gepetto.

I don't have a picture of it to share, but I made one VERY evil little flogger with plastic coated headset wire. Melt the ends of the coating and squeeze closed at the ends so no wire can work its way out, and attach several pieces to a handle and there you go. It's very very stingy and evil, only takes the slightest flick of the wrist to leave lovely marks. The fall is about 10 inches long on that one, with 7 strands. You don't really need any more than that. And yes, this toy is one that gets used ON me, so I know exactly what its effect is.

Sorry I haven't kept up with this thread.  I pretty much lost my inspiration for it.  Until I get my other bike on the road I probably won't be making any new creations, and after that, well, we'll see.  Toying (no pun intended) with the idea of a sensory deprivation box next.  But feel free to PM with any questions, I'll be glad to help with construction ideas.

Slip tiedowns, these come in very handy for adding a restraint point where there are none and you don't want to damage any surfaces.  1" webbing strap hammer riveted with triangular welded rings.  Works great on four-poster beds!

Looks like the soft straps I use over chrome on a bike.....

Well, I got around to making a couple of new creations.  This was an easy one, basically some 1X2X20" poplar, (2) 8"carriage bolts, (4) washers, (2) standard nuts and (2) wing nuts.  The subject of breast torture was brought up to me recently, and I like having a variety of methods.  Since I already have a nice rope collection, a crusher was next on the list.  The inner edges have had the corners rounded and all surfaces have been carefully hand sanded to remove any chance of splinters.  I have not "set" the carriage bolts into the wood yet, as I am toying around with the idea of using all-thread rod and more nuts to make it easy to break down for handy storage or transport.  If I do decide to go that route, I will update the parts list and post a new pic.

You could probably add another bolt to the middle for stability, just make sure you drill the hole good and straight, use a drillpress if you can.

I've always had this crazy idea of something similar, but with gears glued/welded to the nuts for the carriage bolts and running a chain around the gears so that all the bolts turn at the same time. Plus it'll add a little shock value because it'll look like some crazy machine. You could use a power drill on the lowest setting and work your way up the "gears" (Some electric drills have "gears" that stop at certain torque levels like a torque wrench basically), and when it makes that horrible racket (when it stops tightening) it'll add just that much more to the psychological aspect.

Actually, I was toying with the idea of using smooth rod on the ends with bushings and using a threaded rod in the middle, but I decided on this as the simplest design.  I have a drill press, but it's in storage, I managed to drill the holes properly by clamping the two boards together and using a cordless drill with a built-in level sight.  I like the gears idea.  It would work well if the woman had "normal" breasts, but I have met several women with dissimilar-sized breasts.  It does have a rather sinister steampunk ring to it though.  I may hang on to that idea, but using metal for the slats.  It would be interesting to put a right-angle gear on it with a largish crank, no electricity required and you could look her in the eye and chuckle evilly as you "put the squeeze on".

This is probably the most brutal, frightening toy I've made to date and it is yet a "virgin". I test EVERY paddle, flogger and whip on my own skin before trying it on a sub, and all I have to say about this one is DAMN. I may reserve this one for intimidation purposes only. Extra-heavy bungie cord with ribbed aluminum handle and hanging eyelet.

I have one similar to that one https://fetlife.com/users/463819/pictures/6898936
they call it "the evil loop thingy" and I know it hurts a lot because I hit myself by mistake and I had to stop for a bit.. It leaves beautiful marks though ( look at the pic)

Think I'm going to hang up the tools for a while.  I've got a lot to deal with right now, and a lot of hard decisions to make.  I hope that I have inspired some (and frightened others), and shown that you don't have to be Bob Vila to make a few simple things and save a TON of money.  But for now, my little "Box 'o Horrors" is probably going to storage.

Sorry to hear that you are taking a break and have to put your box in storage. I hope that things get better for you and you can continue your "good works".

I decided to go ahead and post pics of my last two creations.  These were specifically made for one person, but never "claimed", so here they are.  This particular one was interesting to me.  She was fascinated with bruising, something I had never really given much thought to (other than avoiding visible ones when necessary, obviously).  I considered different designs and made this little bastard.  Four large wooden "beads", I believe they're 3/4", nylon braided cord and handle.  The cord is epoxied into the handle, and a dab of epoxy was used on each knot to keep it from coming loose.  Everything but the cord is sanded and clear coated.

This is, quite honestly, probably the most dangerous toy I've ever made.  This will probably remain "for intimidation only" or used very, very carefully and lightly.  Plastic-coated thick stainless cable, double loop, sanded and clear coated handle, everything joined with two-part epoxy.  Swatting my thigh with this definitely makes me jump.  Trust me, this thing can do damage.  There would have been no complaints about the bruises this thing could leave.

Oh, and a quick note on the last toy:  I learned that by using wire or steel rings, the loops could be "choked" down to be longer and narrower, varying the pattern and effect.
