Hanging up the whip. Gotta say that I've been (figuratively) burned too many times. It's a shame that most of the people I've met in this lifestyle can't be trusted, because I know that there are countless others that are good people. I'll leave my toy pics here to hopefully inspire others to create their own weapons of satisfaction, but I'm cancelling my membership. Maybe I'll meet someone that will be interested in the padlocked box in the back of my closet......

Well....hate to see someone walk away from a lifestyle they enjoy.

From personal experience; stepping away from a particular way of life can be hard. If you opened up your own Ebay store selling your creations; it might make things easier to either slowly slip away or stay in touch with the lifestyle if you ever decided to return. I am sure your creations will sell for the right price.

Perhaps it's more so the people or your ways of gaining exposure to them.
I'm sure you've already considered the route long and hard; I don't intend to reiterate basic workings of decision making,
but, it seems odd to walk away from a lifestyle due to the people rather than walk away from the people due to their Lifestyle.
Evaluate what it is you use to seek submission, remove specific emotional aspects, and link back untrustworthy actions to their most basic noticeable traits; using that as a further "filter" through your search. Basically, in shorter terms, suck it up and learn from your mistakes. I don't believe too many people as deeply involved as I (assume via what I've seen) you are can simply walk away without getting that grander satisfaction first.
People are just as dishonest, sneaky, and full of shit in the vanilla world too.
Only at least here We can hurt people and have fun.

If you want to Dominance; get out there and fucking take it.

I think this lifestyle has a built-in system that won't let you leave. From out of the blue you get a design idea, or a completely innocent conversation with a friend takes an unexpected twist.....okay, VERY unexpected......or you just decide fuck it, this is who I am. Or all of the above.

Anyway, I've got new ideas brewing, new tools and I've already almost filled a notebook with drawings. My next sub isn't going to stand a chance.
