While I have seen a true sting ray while swimming in the ocean, I never knew the dangers of their barbs until I read about that some years later.

===========

The Person Beneath Me swam in the ocean with sharks, octopus and other creatures in the sea.

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/25/2013 9:40:23 PM)

True. Fortunately they all stayed away from me.

TPBM is good at keeping secrets.

DOM68005 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/25/2013 9:57:40 PM)

usually unless there a VERY GOOD REASON not to.

===============

The Person Beneath Me has been a mile or more above sea level.

LadyPact -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/25/2013 10:08:55 PM)

True.

TPBM has gone snorkeling.

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/25/2013 10:30:38 PM)

Yup, in 2 countries.

TPBM has known facts about certain things that a TV show or film got totally wrong and nearly railed at the screen, nearly threw popcorn at it. I stress the word 'nearly'.

Like when airforce guys watch 1950's sci-fi films and gape at the 'rocket-science', lol

BlkTallFullfig -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/25/2013 10:36:42 PM)

This is the reason I've never been able to watch ER or any hospital based show for more than a couple of episodes.

I scream at the TV "You do not defibrillate a flat line/asystole!" Even doctor Phil left me disappointed a few weeks back, questioning a lady regarding "?abdominal cancer, being unable to specify perhaps what organ/parts the cancer could have initiated in?"

The person beneath me has a passport, and has travelled to at least 3 continents.

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/25/2013 10:41:36 PM)

LOL, my FAVE new poster on this thread's last 20 pages, right above me!

Yes, and thanks for the perfect answer, too.

TPBM gets REALLLLLLLY annoyed at the so called 'realism' of the way people 'look' on highly rated TV shows.

DOM68005 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/25/2013 10:56:32 PM)

I had a passport in the JFK era. Yes, I traveled most of western Europe.
====
TV show question .. I'm still adjusting to the LED TV that I bought a few months back. It's a totally different cinema quality compared to the previous TV.
===============
Yes ... Some TV shows make me want to throw the TV out the window a la SCTV opening scenes.
=============

The Person Beneath Me has been in a projection booth at a local theater.

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/25/2013 11:01:57 PM)

LOL, yeah, no matter what bullshit they spin, the Cathode Ray Tube is still richer and more flattering to the faces of performers. Even people who sell TV's admit, secretly, they like the look of the CRT's.

I LOVE the projection booth!

TPBM has been inside the cockpit of a NON CIVILIAN aircraft.

BlkTallFullfig -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/25/2013 11:09:50 PM)

I agree regarding CRT (or as I call them, the oldies but goodies TVs).
...Afraid I haven't been in a cockpit of a non civilian, but a girl has future hopes, being opinionated about politics and all, lol.

The person beneath me leans republican.

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/25/2013 11:20:16 PM)

By USA definitions, the answer is likely yes. I think of myself as the bastard child of Samuel Clemens with a horrible hangover and Rocky Rhoades after a bad break-up.

The PBM loves the thunder and rumble of over 100 people all hitting a deep note in unison.

DOM68005 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/25/2013 11:27:07 PM)

1955 era US Navy sea plane.
November 25, 1960 MAC - Military Air Command transport prop aircraft. 19 hours flight New Jersey to West Germany.
Just a few minutes a couple of times in the cockpit. My family's children (including myself) were the only children on the aircraft.
October 1963 - return trip on a Navy MAC Constellation aircraft which again allowed a few minutes in the cockpit.
A few military air shows - aircraft stayed on the ground.

Does the Mormon Tabernacle Choir count?

--------------------------------
The Person Beneath Me at some time in their lives received medical treatment at a military hospital.

NoBimbosAllowed -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/25/2013 11:47:11 PM)

No, but it was likely. good guess!

TPBM has been stitched up with the old non-dissolving 'cat-gut' style stitches, with little anesthetic, which didn't work that well, but they muscled-through-it.

DOM68005 -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/26/2013 12:01:27 AM)

true ... I had been stabbed in the hand in the mid 80s.
I was blessed not to have long term problems as a result.

==================

The Person Beneath Me has been injured as a result of a crime against them.

garyFLR -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/26/2013 7:19:27 AM)

Yes.

TPBM.

Is going for a beer tonight?

LadyPact -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/26/2013 12:41:56 PM)

False.

TPBM is planning a pot of homemade soup.

MysticFireTopaz -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/26/2013 2:00:11 PM)

Not just yet, but I'm sure I will when it cools off a bit more here.

TPBM has set off their smoke alarm when cooking.

Blonderfluff -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/26/2013 2:05:42 PM)

Nope. But I AM making soup because it's frickin' FREEZING here

TPBM took a nap today

LadyPact -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/26/2013 2:13:53 PM)

Catching up with both.......

I have set My smoke alarm off when cooking. If the burners on My stove get even the smallest thing on them, they go off here.

No, I haven't taken a nap today but it wouldn't shock Me if it happened. The dentist put Me on some antibiotics and Vicodin, so I'm not really 100%. I skipped play offers this weekend because I wasn't up to par.

TPBM loves it when other people post their play pics of the time they spent playing with you.

Blonderfluff -> RE: The Person Beneath Me (10/26/2013 2:16:17 PM)

Only if the pics don't show any of my jiggly bits......

TPBM has a doll collection
