Already went to one last weekend. Actual Halloween, we're staying home. I remarked to the other half yesterday that it felt like the real holiday had already passed. LOL. TPBM has already had thoughts of Thanksgiving cross their mind.

I don't give it a thought. If not for society peer pressure, I'd just leave the leaves on the ground to compost naturally. The peer pressure comes based on the fact the leaves do blow off my yard to somebody else's annoyance. ======== Sooooo, Person Beneath Me, ...are there certain movies you watch on TV whenever you become aware they will be aired? Leaves gone before Oct 31st are par for the course here. I'm actually rather happy that the kids will have much warmer than normal temps for their fun night out. We've only had a couple of snows this month and both melted off, so the little ones won't be freezing their tails off. For us to have above freezing on Halloween is a real treat. As for wind, we have Chinook winds here, so we're very used to it. TPBM has seen Lewis Black's comedy routine regarding his opinion of Twitter.

hell yes. Seen Dana Gould Live before he got hired on TV/Simpsons, seen Andy when he was raw 20 years before he was featured on Seinfeld (in the same show/same night, too). I've seen guys who DESERVED to get on Aussie TV (which is rare) and a few guys who then GOT on Aussie TV (rarer still). Sadly few of the women are allowed entry into the Hallowed Halls of the CRT as easily or frequently, which fucking pisses me off. TPBM has a fave performer they think is WOEFULLY underrated.

Before Hawaii was a state, it was a territory and considered overseas duty for our military. Our family was there for about 3 years. The Person Beneath Me was in Alaska prior to statehood.
