Sooooo the person beneath me... there has been at least one time when you walked through a supermarket or KMart at All Hallows and saw the tacky $2.99 'whips' next to the catwoman outfits and wanted to klnock down the damn shelf in annoyance.

Sadly no, not this year. Most people don't "get it" in this city. They mistake it for free candy and a Simpson's re-run. Specific mythic creature... no. But, I do have a set of faery wings that I've donned for various costumes (they live entwined with my headboard when not in use). I tend to not get too involved in costumes, since I usually run out of time (and the former sewing comment applies). I do have a custom costume for a mythical video game character (mythical in the sense that it doesn't really exist as a race). I liked the corset that she wore, so I had one made for a con...... TPBM has enjoyed scaring the crap out of someone in a fun way.

My sixth and seventh grade teacher (I was blessed to have her two years in a row ... very unusual in the schools I went to) Several years later, I was working in the area ... bumped into a customer who knew her.
