1. It would take the same thing for me to relocate for a BDSM relationship as a vanilla relationship -- the belief that this was a person who I wanted to forge a significant and long-lasting relationship with. And frankly, it's unlikely I would ever made that decision based on talking to someone on the phone or through emails. I would need to spend a lot of time with them face to face. This is not a decision I would make casually.

2. I don't know if I can make any generalizations because it's too ... general. To me, answering a profile is not much different than saying "hello" to someone at a party.

This may sound like a joke, it isn't.

Try much harder to be less condescending. Subs and slaves are actual human people, just like you. Yes, the females ones have a pussy, but other than that, they are just people. Their brains may be wired in a slightly different way, but if you're slick, you can take advantage of that.

Not true at all. Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one. My intent, if you have read through my responses in this post, was to spark a debate on a topic I was curious about. In general, I recieved two types of responses. The first being annoyance at the use of the word "subbie", with little or no input toward the topic of conversation, where several folks said I was wrong for using the word, also attacked others for either saying, it's really not so big a deal, banter back and forth and repeat.
The second camp of folks were the ones that got it, wether thry agreed or disagrees with the use of the word "subbie" and stayed on topic and provided some pretty clear insight. Some of these positive contributers sent c-mails with further explanation and support, and again I thank all of you for that.

Actually, I do believe your intent was to come here, impress us with your so called humor and intelligence; thinking that us 'subbies and slaves' would not be high enough on the evolutionary ladder to give you a reasonable answer to your thread title "WHAT DO SUBBIES AND SLAVES TRULY DESIRE'.

What we desire is simple. As others have answered, we desire to be treated with a modicum of respect. Something that you have consistantly denied us.

If you truly want to find out anything here, it will do you good to actually shut the fuck up and pay attention to what EVERYONE is telling you.

The reason you only got a small number of actual responses on the relocation and profile questions is because you rudely dismissed the opinions of all others.

I do have an ego yes, just like everybody else on this site. I never claim to be perfect, although very close. I hope in the next decade that the fucked up, non original, phrase of... opinions are like ass holes, everyone has one... becomes a faded memory of old folks like me.

I swear, at the moment, I can not think of a bigger cop out. Falls in the same file as... but mom, everyone is doing it!, he made me do it, does a bear shit in the woods or how about that one... if a tree falls and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound?

I guess I can't say much since I still use an old phrase myself.... Fuck off, seems to work in every decade and I can imagine I will still be saying it.. well, until god gets me. At which time I fully expect to hear... Fuck off!

When I first heard that phrase, it was a bit longer expression:
"Opinions are like assholes....everyone has one....only some are louder and fouler than others"

I believe the phrase "fuck off" is timeless.
