I haven't posted at length because I've been working all week. However, here's the deal. Although mineral oil is a petroleum product, it is NOT gasoline, it's a byproduct of the distilation process of petroleum. However, when crude oil is mined, you don't get a single product. It's always a mix, and there's several substances, with different molecular structures that are found alkanens from which the fuels are obtained naphthenes from which some sort of fuel with odd molecular shapes are obtained. Forget exactly Aromatics from which you get the beginning bits for mineral oil Asphaltenes from which, apparently, we obtain asphalt While it is well known that extensive and prolonged exposure to hydrocarbons like gasoline, kerosene, tars, and lubricants ( the industrial sort) is carcenogenic, there has never been enough research to prove that 'aromatic' oils cause cancer in humans. Most of the research has been geared towards the consumption of mineral oil saturated hydrocarbons from contamination from food packaging and plastics. The general consensus appears to be that you should not eat plastic. Who knew? Posting nonsense like you have makes me suspect you get your information from housewives who have decided they want to have a 'business' selling cosmetics that come prepackaged with their own brand of hysteria and day time TV. Also, I'm not jealous, just face palming someone telling people that "mineral oil is gasoline!" Really? Be careful, the product you produce in your house totally probably has dihydrogen monoxide in it. Studies show that if you consume too much dihydrogen monoxide, you could die.
