I think Romney Needs Some New Vision To Spark His Campaign ... Hey Doesn't Judge Ken Starr's nephew Patrick Do State State OF The Art Promotion?

Analysis: Mich. win won't end Romney's challengeBy CHARLES BABINGTON, Associated Press 1 hour ago
WASHINGTON (AP) — Mitt Romney's come-from-behind win in his native Michigan, and his easy victory in Arizona, are obviously good news for the former Massachusetts governor. But they won't resolve the knottiest problems vexing the Republican Party's presidential race, which has become angrier in recent weeks.

Romney landed no knock-out punch on Rick Santorum, the fiery social conservative who loves to remind everyone how difficult Romney finds it to excite and unify the party's base. Nor is it likely the GOP contest will ease its emphasis on social issues, such as Catholic birth-control doctrine, which gives President Barack Obama a clearer lane to highlight the slightly improving economy.

Romney's victories Tuesday avert a huge embarrassment and offer some comfort to Republicans who think he has the best chance to attract independent voters and disaffected Democrats this fall. Romney, however, is far from able to start saving his campaign money and focusing fully on Obama.

Santorum is an idiot, he's gone too far, best bet might be to let him win, his reign will be short.

Romney is far cannier, I can't denounce him outright - though I suspect he will remain true to his corporate origins, there is a glimmer of something besides a really nice head of hair.

Question is: would he take a stand on habeus corpus?

Obama's balls just got a lot fucking bigger if you ask me.

Fact is, Obama leveraged a bullet that was designed with his name on it tying it in with a military budget that might not make payroll was a sure way of getting him to have to swallow a poison pill. And they had a month's worth of hay. But I bet the ones who can actually understand the implementation of government aren't nearly as happy.
Cause now there's a standard of justice that must be observed with a criminal law standard for those who meet the qualifications of law.

You should pay more careful attention to my posts in other threads concerning the UGLY background fight between the Kochs and Singer and Paulson.
I think Santorum is every bit as big a cum bubble as Romney...
I'd just as soon wake up some summer morning and hear that they all went to the mattresses a'la Crazy Joe Gallo and that the only thing left to do with the power structure of the GOP was identify the corpses.

I'll go ya one further I'd like to see Peepants, Sweatervest and the Grinch in an all male cast film where they turn Ron Paul into the worthless little bitch he is.
And I would laugh my fool head off through the entire SORDID AND TYPICALLY REPUBLICAN AFFAIR.

Romney is seriously outspending Santorum.
Michigan is Romney's home state.
Santorum is a fruitcake.
AND Santorum has inexplicably forced the debate to the social issues the GOP will lose on, and alienated the women in his party in so doing.

And Romney barely squeaked it out.
The ONLY reason that Romney is even in the race is because Gingrich refuses to drop out. Else Santorum would be crushing him.

Why did Gingrich do so poorly in MI?

Romney survives Michigan as all eyes turn to Super Tuesday

...By early Wednesday morning, the Michigan department of state had posted unofficial results from 80 of the total 83 counties. They showed Romney with 36% to 33% for Santorum.

Texas Rep. Ron Paul had 10% while former House speaker Newt Gingrich had 6%

...Romney's victory in Arizona was expected and more thorough. He had 47% to 27% for Santorum, 16% for Gingrich and 8% for Paul with 88% of the unofficial returns counted, according to the secretary of state website.

The result gave Romney all of the state's 29 delegates in the winner-takes-all primary.

In a speech to supporters, Romney acknowledged he had to come from behind on his home turf in Michigan.

"A week ago, it was just a week ago, the pundits and the pollsters, they were ready to count us out," he said of surveys showing Santorum leading in Michigan. " ... We didn't win by a lot, but we won by enough and that's all that counts."

Santorum portrayed his Michigan defeat after leading in the polls as a better-than-expected performance in his main rival's territory.

"This was going to be Romney's night. The question was how big. And it wasn't very big," Santorum said.

The outcome showed it's a "two-person race right now" with Romney, he added.

I think it would be be a SPECTACULAR display of madness if newt would drop out a day or two before super tuesday.
I mean we KNOW Paul is going to maintain Barnacle_On_Ass status right to the end.... Just so he can get up in front of a hopefully BOOING Republican Party and puke out 20 minutes worth of pablum about constitutional reform his own party would fuck him on, starting the day he took office.

Mark my words... THIS JACKASS Couldn't be a better Democrat if he followed Barack Obama and Joe Biden around getting doors for them.
He's going to limp into the Republican Catastrophe in Tampax, Fl like a 74 Ford Pinto in flames. And then he's gonna warm the hearts of ever neo-con libertarian that ever slugged down an extreme energy drink. Or as we like to call em The Occupy Till It Rains Or The Cops Come Movement".

http://news.yahoo.com/santorum-focuses-reaching-women-adviser-says-macgyver-campaign-050602438--abc-news.html

After getting his ass kicked, Santorum all of a sudden realizes that women vote too.

I LOVE this quote. "The men and women who signed that declaration wrote the final phrase, 'We pledge to each other our lives, our fortune, and our sacred honor," Santorum said.

I guess he took the same history class that Bachman did.

What it comes down to is delegate math. Romney's Florida winner-take-all win and the future Virginia (romney and paul are the only ones on the ballot) are big issues. That said, lets look at super Tuesday:
Virginia, Mass, and Vermont, advantage Romney (Paul has options in all of those too): 107 delegates
Georgia, Gingrich, 76 Delegates
Ohio, Tenn, Oklahoma, Idaho, Noth Dakota, Alaska, Santorum: 254 delegates.
Of course, apparently none of these states are winner-take-all, so the amount by which someone wins will be more important than the win. That is where Romney's strengths will help him. He will get more of a lock in his corner of the nation than Santorum will in the areas Gingrich has a partial claim to. Then there is Virginia, where if Gingrich and Santorum are smart, they will ask their followers to vote for Paul...
Romney is about 100 delegates up right now, but you can see how it could pull even really quickly on the 6th.

If this drags on till the END OF August......and everyone including the cons are saying it will........it`ll be two very short months till election day.

After seeing the republicans savaging each other bloody and eating their own........nobody`s going to want to vote for their negativity, meanness and pandering to the lowest common denominator.

That was at the end of the night when his wife leaned over to him on stage and whispered "Rick a lot of them vote. And some don't even get beaten for it afterward".

Trust me, we're going to start hearing fragments about the battle in the background that makes things clearer. The problem is, if they were just transparent about the backroom fighting. They would lose many of their own loyal members... They are scared shitless this goes all the way to Tampax.

You might be right... My friend down in Nashville says the Romney's crew were trying to get one going and get this, they were worried about the women talking. About the nature of the group and who organized it.
That's so classic "I dunno Mitt, you know how women like to talk".
And this is what some people think America needs.
