There's definite scope for some research to update all those analyses of right wing women that feminists did back in the 80s. I find this present crop of Republican / Tea Party women *really* baffling. I don't think I've known of a situation before when so many turkeys have voted so enthusiastically for Christmas. It's as though millions of American women have read 'The Stepford Wives' and concluded that all those robot-women were a bit on the bolshie-radical-feminist side.
