Like I said before its always hard to pinpoint where you position yourself.
I guess in this case you approve of condoms unlike ''the Church''?

I have thought, there could be a possibility atheism is genetically determined aberration of a certain part of human population. Today's brain research may be capable to test this theory.

What???

Honestly, I do wonder if the problem religionists have in understanding atheism is that they assume that atheism is somehow complex. It isn't. You just don't believe in something, that's all. It needn't be painful to be an atheist and your head doesn't implode because the absence of religion in it causes a dangerous vacuum.

There is very strong evidence that atheism will in fact cause your head to implode. If a person here and there at random turns atheist for whatever reasons the world does not come to an end, but if the population goes in that direction this is what happens, the world comes to an end. Atheism does not have a good track record.

And the religious wars that have been fought for millenia, the oppression, the superstition passed as fact...are better?

This sort of of non-thought is why I try to avoid these discussions.

Your argument makes an assumption. You are assuming the faithful are faithful. For the most part, they are not. Faith is weak in most believers. It is often so weak as to almost not count. The only way atheism achieves anything (I may be indulging in some hyperbola here) is by defining things out of existence by saying fornication is not sin, etc. Atheism has to put reality on ignore.

The reality is most people are atheists or if not atheists believers with little faith. It is the faithful, however, who keep the world spinning on its axis. Atheists create a toxic environment for the few who are faithful. In Hypocrisy or Obsession page 7 post 130 I mentioned Abraham and the story of Sodom and Gomorrah. I wrote, "Lot failed in his mission. He was unable to even find 10 righteous people in the city. The people of Sodom and Gomorrah had gotten lost in a labyrinth." In other words, you do not need a great many true believers to keep the world from coming to an end (they will, however, be few in number always), but if the environment is sufficiently toxic, the number of true believers will dwindle to below a critical threshold. The result is a loss of viability THE END.

Even the smallest of sins is wicked. Few are called to achieve moral perfection. Above all do not stand in the way of those who are.

That is an interesting question MrBukani. Perhaps it is a fantasy of mine to save Eve.

So you think, like, not believing in fairies is a mental illness?

Right, for gods sake be sure and don't let her have an orgasm, she'll want one every time, it's a lot of work.

And I do hope you'll remember there's a fine line between love and stalking.

Anyway we are gettin off track but it is something perhaps for another topic.
How do religious people combine the bdsm lifestyle with their faith and justify it.
I asked a woman the same Q, but you know what they are like,''I dont need a reason for everything, I just like it.''

You submit too quickly MrBukani. I will, however, honor you for your humility and say more.

Should I prove it beyond all doubt? If I do, what would it say concerning the condition of your soul that you could not receive the truth sooner.

Atheism appears to come in two varieties. Those who can cope with moral contradiction and those who cannot.

Benevolent's Taxonomy of Atheism

When I wrote the above in Hypocrisy and the Law I feel that I stumbled on a new topic for a thread.

Well, considering this is gonna end up being one or ta utter....I'm confuseled.

My answer reminded me of this clip...
Carlos Mencia on orgasms

That was funny. The only problem is, I've never had a problem bringing a woman to orgasm. What is curious about this is, you would think I wouldn't have any problem finding a woman. I have a sense of humor. I have a lot of good qualities. I just don't have anything that a woman wants.

I saw a wild film a week or so ago called Idiocracy (2006) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0387808/. It is about a possible future for mankind where technological achievement peaked at some point, then we de-evoluted into morons. The story was ridiculous.

In the story we still had politics.

It is possible that Christianity was always intended by God to be an inconvenient faith. It is an honor to serve Him.

Gloria

Glory to God in the highest, and peace to His people on earth. Lord God heavenly King, almighty God and Father, we worship you, we give you thanks, we praise you for your glory. Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father, Lord God, Lamb of God, you take away the sin of the world; have mercy on us; you are seated at the right hand of the Father; receive our prayer. For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen.
