I was recently told why a sub from indiana, I being from indiana too...that she has "already heard about me"...that others have talked in chat rooms about me and how I am. I find this to be intriguing, it makes me irate, and at the same time humorous. Why, I have yet to actually get to meet a sub yet off of CM and yet I am being talked about behind my back to people I am interested in and they already have a negative attitude and connotation about me... I am really trying to track down those people that love to spread rumors about how i "act and will say"...lol...when you have not met me... any help or suggestions would be appreciated...

If this girl is willing to listen to others and not make her own choices...I would think you would be better off without her. As for the rest....think back to highschool and how the cliques worked. For some...the drama is more important than anything else. Ignore them. Eventually, they fade away when no one pays attention to them any longer. BTW...welcome to the message boards. [:)]

Anything willing to participate in this kind of childish drama is best left alone :) Perhaps you dodged a bullet. Anyway if you aren't anything like the rumors, and in fact a good person, then all it requires is to get to know people. And let them know you. Then they will realize the truth once it's right there in their face :)

I'm from Indiana as well, and I haven't heard of you. But then I don't hang in chat rooms. The thing is, if you are going to hang in chat rooms, you have to develop a thick skin. Because there are all kinds of people online, and some of them have emotional and mental issues. And since they are online and therefore anonymous, they feel free to do whatevah. (I know about this, I was an online DJ in various chat rooms for over 5 years. And the crazies luuuuv to pick on the DJ, don't ask me why.) But, why on earth is someone your age (+30) letting online bullcrap bother you in the least? It tells me you are far too close to it and living your life online instead of offline, which is where you should be. I happen to know Lafayette has an excellent munch group. Get yourself on FL and find out about it so you can get involved for real.

thank you all for the quick replies...no, i do not live in the chat rooms...as a matter of fact i visited them for the first time today to see what it was like, maybe get some info..but zero luck...I have a good life outside of this...I am a good person, many people tell me that and that is a sign i am...and I believe so too... and you are right...the drama, the hs bs is a good analogy...its just hurtful in the search for a submissive, that this is going on behind my back in my own backyard...i wondered why it was so hard and maybe this is a good reason...i am getting a bad, unworthy rep... just hurts...

Did you behave like a butt? (Your journal entries don't paint a very positive picture of you) While it may be immature gossip, clearly someone feels you behaved inappropriately towards them. I think sometimes people are surprised at how quickly a reputation can form and how long it can last within our communities.

you say that this is coming from CM chat habitues? Well, how many subs have you met, in person, NOT from CM? those are the ones whose opinions would be more important, IMO.

Hello, welcome to the forums. Why does this bother you, what anonymous people supposedly say on the internet? You don't know if it's true, she might be just messing with you. Why would what a stranger said to you impact you so much and you actually used the word 'hurt' several time...why in the world should this hurt to the degree that it seems to be impacting you? You say you are a good person here, it seems a little odd then that you said in your journals that you wished spammers would die. All of this is adding up to a not real stable picture of you, maybe this woman picked up on that.

Why would you believe her? How do you know she isn't saying that just to cut off contact using the cheesiest online out of all time? I would suggest that you really ain't that important, that strangers don't spend lots and lots of time discussing you and that the gal who told you that was full of chit. Not trying to be hurtful or anything, just using Occam's Razor to lay out the most likely answer.

i will respond to those that are basically saying look in the mirror, etc....just cause i say i want a spammer to die does not make me a bad person...do you know me? No...And go see if you can find the one that i called a fake...NO PROFILE...but I guess that makes me wrong for calling her out...i read a TON about people being irritated by the fakes and spammers etc, so i do my part to call one out..and here i am being said I am "not sane" and "messed up in the head basicallY".... lol... i can take criticism with the best of them..heck i dish it out a lot to those that need it...but some viewpoints are off imo...take the time to get to know me..then you can comment...i am trying to find the ones that said this...i got some good advice, and some ignorant ones imo... but, i do appreciate and respect EVERYONES response...

oh and one more thing...being irritated and putting it in MY JOURNALS....is not being negative..it is simply releasing some thoughts...calling out a fake or the spammers that are subs and even want to cam on another site..is not negative...it is truthful... have a great day..off to run in the park.
