Both sides are turning to God. Fair enough.

We separate the two groups, have them pray in isolation from each other for 40 days.

Let the stronger God win.

If that's no good, then they don't really trust in their God anyway, and we can put the whole thing behind us.

Well, it's disrespectful for you to assume that about a blessing OUT OF MY FATHER'S PRAYER BOOK is used in such a limited context. And of course, it suggests there's something WRONG with medical marijuana. You wouldn't do that, would you? Be suggesting I'm some sort of "Stupid Pothead", right?

I don't need a quote. That is what the pro-choice crowd says: that while they themselves may not believe in abortion, that it is an acceptable choice to make, whether out of convenience or otherwise.

Downs syndrome, for example, is not even a terminal diagnosis, however over 90% of those diagnosed in utero are killed for that disability, many saying because they fear a poor quality of life. Yet, for those few diagnosed who manage to survive the womb, 99 percent responded they were happy with their lives, 97 percent liked who they are, and 96 percent liked how they looked. Yeah, liking who you are and being happy is a shitty quality of life don't you know.

This doesn't even count how many human beings are killed in utero because their mother thought that giving birth was inconvenient and expensive (which is over 90% of all abortions performed).

Please note, unlike many I don't use the word "murder" when talking about abortion. I recognize that for it to be murder it would have to be illegal, but I also don't see abortion as any different than a slave owner killing his slave (prior to the Emancipation Proclimation). Both the slave and the unborn are human beings, even if they are not seen as legal persons. But even a slave was considered to be 3/5 of a person.

So you have never heard of anyone getting an abortion because they were not ready to have a kid? You never heard of someone getting an abortion because tests determined their child would be disabled? You never heard anyone say that it would be criminal to make a women carry a child she can't afford to take care of? Hell I knew a girl who got 2 abortions in a 6 month period because she didn't want her husband to know she was screwing around on him? The third time she got pregnant, she miscarried and then cried because she is afraid she won't be able to have any more kids. There are all kinds of reasons the women want them, those are just 2 of them.

you just don't want to call them pro-life because using your logic that would make the other side pro-death. Of course you also equate a human life with a head of lettuce so that doesn't surprise me.

Not to me...I have no idea what you are saying.

To many, dare I say the majority of, devout Christians...and these claim to be, you know not just purposely infuriating their opponents, a soul is given at conception. This means the aborted fetus is a separate living human being.

I will let God decide if there is a punishment. I try to teach my children it is wrong...my church teaches it is wrong but I don't want my government telling me on behalf of my church it is wrong.

Isn't that the "Anti-Family-Planning" position? That at conception, the living sperm, and living egg join together and SOMETHING DIVINE HAPPENS. What could possibly happen to make the blastocyst 'special' so that it's worthy of their 'protection'?

I *personally* think anyone who buys into "Life begins at Conception" to be either a nitwit, or crazy. Mostly just fucking stupid, since they're too dumb to observe that since the sperm and egg are both 'alive', then the assertion that 'life begins...' is just fucking retarded.
