Not exactly. At the age of 81, Tesla challenged Einstein's theory of relativity, announcing that he was working on a dynamic theory of gravity that would do away with the calculation of space curvature.

The theory was never published.

That Einstein has been superseded is very old news. That doesn't turn science back to the 19th century.

small cavil.....to be perfectly punctillious....superseded is far and away too big a word here.......he has been buffeted about the edges surely, even so far as wrong way way out there in small places...... the statistical nature of the universe, yes......but not superseded....

Dude... what I cited earlier was a scientific fact. Not only do I know it, I've done it for laughs for my kid's at the Gloucester Heritage Museum with the Itinerant Science teacher for our district who produces science and marine biology presentations to take around to the schools.
And we used DC and AC ... but at regular house current. And I DEFY you to show how that was more than just plain old skin effect transmission of electricity.

I have not tried it but it is unlikely that a car battery would light a 110 volt 100 wat bulb more than very dim if at al.

Wrongola my furry friend... If you go to one of those auto parts stores I know they have so many of out your way, you'll find they have a similar deal for about $15 already made and the bulb is an incandescent that rivals those 5 - 15 watt kitchen appliance bulbs or one from a lava lamp.
The more expensive ones are really fluorescent DC bulbs like these

hey great idea to shut you up... do it with those... then you can really get all Uncle Fester 'n' shit

Do you?

BY THE WAY... Here's a nice Tesla screensaver to keep your imagination flowing.

ah so you were talking about a 12volt bulb leaving us with the implication that you were doing a legitimate comparison to send us on a red hearing.

if you wanna get your ass kicked soak your body in any electrolyte and you can do it with a volt.

Yeah, fuck that.   so what, here now?  this tesla coil will turn the wheels how?  lets have the proof of concept in a working model.  Not lighting lightbulbs, hell even a ford original modified carraige carrying folks around via a tesla coil in a lightning storm.  I will allow a whip antennae of 16 feet if necessary in the design, bent to follow the carline.

yeh well instead of a light bulb it powers an electric motor. Do you need a pic of one?

tesla explains it here

Ummm He didn't tell ya about the part that radio waves radiate RADIALLY did he... That would be important to this kinda thin concept.

I wrote a 68 page waveform propagation in respect to time and space measurement in my Sr year RO... This one is for points.

Oh wait ... that must be the big Tesla Secret... and I always thought it was something else.

A wealthy friend once remarked, "I don't think people really notice gas prices."

Reaffirmed my sense that he and I live in very different worlds.

It does not say it was more efficient, can you try and at lease reference the point you are trying to support instead of these constant red herrings.

Ac is not more efficient than dc sorry. Your misconception.

And you never cease to talk complete shite. I didn't say AC is more efficient than DC. I said Tesla's AC system was more efficient than Edison's DC system as a wire transmission system: "Its very well known Tesla's AC system was more efficient at the transmission of electricity than the competing DC system." http://www.collarchat.com/fb.asp?m=4119413

I am experiencing the same situation with my plushly carpeted friend in as much as I wanted the discussion to simply be "My friend, someone sold you magic beans. Now lets get back to talking about gas prices"

So which one is Nikolai and which one is R0?

Does the quiz winner get free electricity for life, complete with "healthy" (source: R0) ionizing electromagnetic radiation?

yep still posting yourself and the incorrect statement that ac is more efficient than dc.

go ahead and see if you can find anything other than your horse manure opinion.

you wont it dont exist.

I told you ac is NOT more efficient than dc.

tesla is on record stating that this works down to 6 cycles per second as its limit. Care to explain skin effect at that frequency?

He said the best freq is 20,000 which is in the rang of a childs ability to hear.

care to explain how someone would NOT get a shock at [insert no shock frequency here] and why they would get a shock at [insert shock frequency here]

Hate to spoil your party but you know how it is.

actually its in the shape of a torus

and how do they radiate through the ground again?

and what makes you think they are "radio" waves?

Can you show me a radio wave that does what these do? In fact by all means grab your paper and give us the skinny!

It's a difference of scale.

Just you, sitting in your make-shift lab, yes, DC is more efficient. But once we start transporting that power--including through the air--AC wins out, especially when high loads are needed.

Nicola Tesla; "Alternating Current will allow the transmission of electrical power to any point on the
planet, either through wires or through the air, as I have demonstrated."
Thomas Edison; "Transmission of AC over long distances requires lethally high voltages, and should be
outlawed. To allow Tesla and Westinghouse to proceed with their proposals is to risk untold deaths by
electricide."

Tesla; "How will DC power a 1,000 horsepower electric motor as well as a single light bulb? With AC,
the largest as well as the smallest load may be driven from the same line."
Edison; "The most efficient and proper electrical supply for every type of device from the light bulb to
the phonograph is Direct Current at low voltage."

Tesla; "A few large AC generating plants, such as my hydroelectric station at Niagara Falls, are all you
need: from these, power can be distributed easily wherever it is required."
Edison; "Small DC generating plants, as many as are required, should be built according to local needs,
after the model of my power station in New York City."
