I'll give it a week. If no progress, I'm making good on my flounce.

I gotta say, MUCH improvement on your profile from what you previously had.

BSS - I like the the first part of your profile. A lot. A whole lot. Unfortunately, I'm a sub.

Have you considered a switch or a service top?

Oside asked:

And last, since you're a Dom, how would you like it if a female submissive came to you with a scene planned out down to the smallest movement and expected you to follow every instruction that they had laid out? Who would you feel is controlling the situation?

To which I totally agree. Which is why I wrote this, in that same post:

quote:

That won't work well with women (or men) who want to control that exact situation. So laying out your criteria comes across as pushy (again, I understand how that seems inherently contradictory on a site like this, but there it is).

Topping from the bottom is a no-no. I have seen a LOT of it, especially on CM, but sometimes on FL, too.

Glad you dug it, OP.

Oh, and Dusky....you are fast becoming my new hero. I meant to communicate my appreciation of that one of Spencer Tracy's lesser-known works; good mention, ma'am. Nice pop culture drop. Thanks for making my night. I am going to put that on my Netflix list again....

Descrite, glad you like it, but your saying so made me realize I've been using that quote backwards for I don't know how long! It should be, "A nod is as good as a wink to a blind horse." Silly me!

No, I'm 100% submissive to a beautiful woman. I get weak in the knees just thinking about kneeling on the floor in front of one and inhaling the foot fragrance of her sweaty black socks or nylons after a hard day at the office.

Firstly I read your profile and it sounds a bit too showy for my liking. You also give away too much information on your profile about who you actually are. Remember that google is our friend!

Holy shitballs, dude. I know some people are open about who they are, but I'm guessing from your profile pic that you don't want to be (or else why not just have a face pic instead of a mask that makes you look like a burglar?). Here's what I found within five minutes of googling some of the information you have in your profile now:

Your full name
Your business website
Your ebay profile/buying and selling history
Your OKCupid profile with your face picture
Myspace, LinkedIn, and a plethora of other profiles
Your ad on garagegames from 2006 asking people to help you develop a hockey game, wherein you list more information about yourself and an email address
In short, enough personally identifying information that it would be no problem at all to run a background check on you and find out your home phone number and address, parents' names, and all kinds of other things for just a few dollars, if I was so inclined. I'm good at finding such information when I want to, so it's quite possible I could find these things without a background check or any expense if I kept looking. I have no reason to do so, though, and so I'm not going to keep looking just to see if I can find those things.

If you're cool with being that open, kudos to you. If you aren't, I suggest removing anything in your profile that includes specific phrases that can lead people to other profiles you've created that contain that same information (if you aren't sure what I'm talking about, send me a PM--I didn't want to post everything here for everybody to see, though I dare say most people could probably figure out the key phrases on their own). You've made a lot of improvements on your profile here, so kudos on that too! Just be aware that some of the things you added might be revealing more than you meant them to.

Edit: I'm quoting MariaB because I'm expanding on her point, but this is directed at BSS. Just in case there was any confusion. :P

I just read your profile re-write and I must say what a tremendous improvement. You do go on a little too much about your little bluenette fetish you seem to have, but overall it is pretty good.

DNA, I edited it. I'm a very private person; hence, the gimp hood. Also, why do all the Doms have a negative attitude when I ask questions in an effort to get to know them as a person? I'm free and no woman's Slave, yet. A Mistress and Slave need to have a mental, spiritual, emotional and sexual connection. In order to do that, I, a Sub, have to ask questions. However, if I ask questions, I get accused of attempting to top from the bottom. I just can't win.

I completely agree with that statement there, not only in a D/s relationship, but any relationship. Not knowing how you're asking these questions it's difficult for me to say but going from the tone of your profile, it seems to be that you're self assured to the point of being pushy.

Just what I got from reading it, others may disagree

LadyH, the number one question I ask a female Dom is why don't you show your face? If I'm not physically attracted to her, I can't serve her.

Sooooooo.......you expect a woman to show her face but you feel you shouldn't have to?

Allll righty then.

I will attempt to answer in a completely non judgmental way.

Have you asked to see a face picture? Have you sent a face picture YOURSELF, or offered to do so?

Am I extremely confident, yes. Am I still fully female submissive, yes. Does that make me any less a Slave, no. It means I'm an incredibly wise Slave who can think for himself. Also, if my profile somehow wasn't clear enough, I'm wanting a vanilla relationship by day and a kinky one by night. Sex is for entertainment purposes only. I'm a complete, sane person with a job, not some lump who sits in front of his computer all the live long day with Cheesy Poof fingers watching foot porn on YouTube. LOL

He asked me for a face picture, which is kind of odd since I'm not a Domme.

No, never. *sarcasm* I only wrote: The number one question I ask a female Dom is why don't you show your face? LOL As a Slave who wears a mask full time, my looks aren't or shouldn't be important, so I've never offered a Dom my photo.

Thanks for so eloquently insulting everyone on the boards who lives a D/s or M/s life 24/7. Please do explain to us what the word "slave" means to you, because to me, a slave is my slave all the time, even when we are not actively engaging in kink.

I have read your profile, which is indeed ripe for identity mining. I tell people all the time, "be yourself, even if that means you're a complete asshole". Taking that into consideration, you have done well.

Right off the bat, you've put off every non-brunette who reads your profile. Congratulations. THAT'S weeding out the competition! The rest of it reads very aggressive, self-important vanilla guy. There is absolutely nothing that indicates "Here is a man who can take care of himself AND follow orders without looking weak." I can see where you'd be madly successful on OKC or PoF, rapey mask aside. I can absolutely see why actual dominant women have minimal interest in you.

I can also see that you are not going to get it. We're on page five here, it's been entertaining, but it's going to continue to be fruitless.

ESCORT SERVICES. You can specify your fetish, the physical type you want, the whole shebang. So much easier than getting to know people in the actual BDSM scene.

Well, since you want a vanilla relationship by day....that would make it rather difficult to wear a mask full time.

I take it you're being ironic?

Are you fucking kidding me? Do you honestly think that AS A SLAVE you would be permitted to wear what you want to wear? And do you think that AS A DOMINANT, a woman doesn't care what she's dealing with? (and did you promise some sort of pleasing vanilla life to this person upthread? to this obviously completely undiscerning person?)
