So what's in your wallet? Isn't this a commerical.........lol

THick or thin?
What grade of leather?
Big bills or small?
and is there a pic of a naked woman in there?
Do you own your own home?
Do you have a savings account?
Are YOu generous?
And since most of this is below the belt, lets move to the front.
Thick or thin? ..........weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

While I never asked those questions outright chatterbox, I did watch how he handled his finances on that first date and yes, I did even look at his wallet. If he didn't have a wallet and just threw it in his pockets all crumpled, if he had a wallet that looked like it was falling apart....yeah, I paid attention to those little financial things..not because I wanted a man with money but I wanted to know how he handled it. Actions and looks speak loudly.

There's a reason men fix themselves up, dress nice, make sure everything is tidy and clean, etc....to get fucked. They know the hotter they look to us, the more willing we'll be to fuck em. That's why we have men's magazine like GQ.

If it wasn't for wanting to get fucked, they'd all be more than happy with their uncombed hair, not shaving and living in their beat up old tshirts and jeans. lol

There are times when even Master has said "I have someone to fuck....why do I need to be worried about what I look like now?" lol <but sshhh....he still likes to dress up sometimes to impress me. [:)]>

But we "let ourselves go", right! [:D].

So, mens: are you items on the menu? If I made a post saying that I wanted a six foot tall redhead with green eyes, Useful Bits of a certain dimension, an Edinburgh accent, and who loved being beaten with a sjambok, what would you think?

In my opinion yes but not in the way you're saying. Women objectify men in different ways than men objectify women but it surely happens. Take a look at the Terry Crews old spice commercials... He can bake you a cake in the kitchen he built with his own two hands on a horse. The reason they are so funny is because they are so true. In my experience the ability to see actual people as opposed to chess pieces is not present in much of humanity and not a male/female trait.

I admit I let myself go after I got married and had my daughter. I was exhausted to the point I would have done anything at all to just have a 5 minute nap. I was just too tired to give a shit about anything else when you have a baby spitting up on you all the time lol.

But after she got older and I started getting more and more of a life back I wanted to make myself look good...not just for men but for myself. Now that I have Master I like to look good for him although I admit there are times when I'm just too tired or I know I'll be soaked in sweat from my menopause and I just give up lol.

I mean, Master says we're like an old married couple because we don't really go out much and we have fun at home just sitting and watching a movie or goofing off online. [:D]

There was a great ad for some kind of car, a few years back....it was just the vehicle, driving down the street at night, all shiny and cool. A voiceover said something like, "Nobody ever looked across a room and said, 'Gee, he sure looks loyal,' or 'Check her out-- I'll bet she is a terrific listener.' Let's face it: looks matter."

An excellent point, really. And key when it comes to gender.

Try an open, straight, committed relationship some time. I guarantee a problem with disproportionality: an attractive, attached girl (hell, probably an unattractive one) can always (always) get guys willing to fuck her, even if the guys know the situation. But for an attached guy to say to a girl he fancies, "Hi-- would you like to have some recreational, uncommitted sex with me, over at my house where I live with my female partner?", well....that's going to garner a lot less success. Less, even, than the number of women that would have taken him up on the offer except for that very-last-part of the deal.

Are we men prepared to be treated as sex toys? Ahem. I give you the entire body of English literature (and a copious amount of the Russian stuff).

For those who can recall the tropes, I only have to provide a key sample, "I'm a sophomore at a small Midwestern university. I never thought this would happen to me..."

And who was it that suggested women DON'T rate a man by his wallet??? That's some specious argument going on, right there. And so she should: it's a good discriminator of personal dedication, talent, education, luck, and charisma. Nothing wrong with that.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go do some sleep-eating...

To the men, and they were very chuffed to be "sexually harassed". Attention whores. [8D]

Hey I am an attention whore, but can't say I'd enjoy being harassed sexually, or otherwise

LaTigresse -> RE: Men: people or hors d'oeuvres? (10/4/2012 4:09:54 AM)

I think that for all of us, male and female, there is a pretty fluid line as to what is flattering and enjoyable, and what is offensive and squick worthy. Fluid in that, it depends on the people involved, and quite often, the amount of mind altering substances those people have had.

Oh I agree, I was trying to joke a bit, but there is definitely some truth to it.

As far as letting yourself go, I am guilty of that. I used to never be caught dead without makeup! I would not go to the store, unless I had on a full face. I was that anal and self conscious. Now no problem, throw my hair in a ponytail and go. It feels pretty freeing actually, cause I have someone at home, who loves me all made up or not. This all started mainly AFTER KIDS!! As far as body, well I still watch that, cause damn you get a certain age...........BOOM......where did the tone go?

For the sake of discussion, because I'd really like to hear more about LadyHib's question, if you were not in a relationship, what would you think about a female profile that was specifically descriptive in what she was looking for in a man as far as physical qualities and kink? In other words how would you feel at being a fetish delivery system to a stranger?

Please forgive this intrusion as your comment seems to be addressed to ladyHib. Somehow I cannot help but wonder how a detailed listing of prerequisites including the circumference and distance end to end of specific body parts can be viewed as anything other than an eliminator of time and energy wasters.

I know what my requirements are and I absolutely have no qualms about being forthcoming and brutally honest when speaking about them with a potential dominant.

Edinburgh accent?!?! pffft, Glasgow miles better!

In a mildly more serious note though, there's only one woman allowed to objectify me [:D]

I would feel objectified, lizi.

Cheapened.

Soiled, in a way.

All things I'd be prepared to forget if she were a bangin hot millionairess nymphomaniac mind you.

GreedyTop -> RE: Men: people or hors d'oeuvres? (10/4/2012 8:02:56 AM)

dammit, ML.. I do not meet that pesky bit of criteria, which means I can no longer objectify you. I now haz teh sads. ;)

I'm not sure how good a point it is. While I doubt those things are ever said... I've heard "Look at that dude with the sharp clothes, I bet he really fucking loves himself"

I've heard "He looks like a nice guy" many times.

I'm not saying that we don't judge by appearances, but that it can go both ways.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Men: people or hors d'oeuvres? (10/4/2012 8:14:02 AM)

I intend to continue objectifying our Crazy. At least I meet one of the three criteria.

GreedyTop -> RE: Men: people or hors d'oeuvres? (10/4/2012 8:18:04 AM)

PS, I do adore you. SOMEDAY, I will get to GLasgow, and it would be my pleasure and honour to buy you and WW a pint or 5 :)

Hibbie, of COURSE I will continue to objectify ML (but in an unassuming way - omg, I am channeling Sundowner!!)

Who needs a millionairess anyway.
