No one is perfect, but that does not mean we should stop trying to achieve perfection.

To master another, first master yourself. To dominate another, first become dominant.

To be become a perfect dominant, make yourself perfect, then do what comes naturally.

What do you mean by triggers

Son, my,heart goes out to you. Talk to 10, 20 ,100 therapists till you can find onr that you can, work with. Contact battered womens groups to find counelors who work on sliding scales or even free group therapy.

I have some respect here and I think many will quote this in support of me. What you are doing is working through childhood issues and you are dragging them into your sex life. You are young...we all did it but like me, you got it rather bad.

You are not being dominant, you are being domineering, hiding your pain and fear. Its com,on but it isnt right.

When I hurt my partner EVERY fiber of my being is focused on her safety I can tell the moment she goes from "oh shit that hurts" (good) and."oh shit that hurts" bad.

You arent....and you need to be...ans will be if you are brave enough to face your own demons.

In the meantime, worry less about labels and more about fun

Using FR:

You have been given some great advice, and mine is to return to this thread once you have calmed down, and reread it.

Alecta, Aries, Kana, and LaTigresse and several others took the time to give you excellent and well thought out answers. If you particularly don't like the advice given, please take a serious amount of time to discover why.

I have learned that very often in my life the first time I hear something about myself I seriously need to hear but I'm not going to like, I really, really, don't like hearing it. In the past, when I was your age and younger, I allowed the anger to interfere with the message. I try very hard not to do that now.

Some have suggested therapy. I doubt you know yourself well enough to pursue that course. However, self mastery is always a great suggestion for anyone at any point in life, and martial arts for a young and I suspect highly physical male is always a good choice.

You say you don't have resources, well, you're young enough to get a job doing whatever so you can pay the bills. Then you can go to school and get a better job. Go to the public library and have the nice ladies there show you how to research what jobs in your area will pay well. Sounds like a long, boring process, right? Self-mastery is not easy, if it were, everyone would do it. It *is* rewarding beyond your wildest dreams.

Take that first step, grasshopper.

Eh doesn't matter if I said I was bailing or not. The fact is wether your bored or not you are still putting effort into replying. So it just means you care just a little bit. And I'm owner of this forum I really can't leave. Plus I've felt that I needed to walk away and come back. Spend some time to not think about the site. That's what a good work out does to you.

OP - I just wanted to apologize for my prior post. After thinking about it, you are probably one of the most fucked up posters Ive seen around here in ages.

You seem to think that no one here is giving you any advice worth while - when in actuality you just arnt accepting what everyone here has been saying - which is you need professional help. For what ever reason - you seem to think that you are ready for a D/s relationship and that is going to cure whatever problems you think you have - and make your life all better. I have never seen anyone so not ready for a relationship around here in a long time.

Your thinking is so mixed up - I dont even know what to say. Anyways - sorry youre so fucked up.

Well, this was an amazing thread.

OP, I hope you straighten yourself out. You've got a hard road ahead of you, and you need people on the ground with you to show you the right path to self control. if that's a martial art, yoga, therapy, or the right set of ADULT people who have been there, please pursue it.

Until then, I hope that you won't be doing any s/m play. Really. I say this as a person who knows her own capabilities.

I thank you fro all your advise. Unfortunately therepy will not be one of the things I do because it might destroy my future career. However my career will give me the self disipline I need. So I will take time to be a suub in the mean time. Maybe it will help me really understand the true meaning of everything. I know some might think it will be pointless. But I be doing a dom till I feel I'm and others I'm ready. But that's if I'm a dom

Destroy your future career? Dude. You are just not connected to consensus reality.

ok, so you work in a local fast food place, and the therapy is considered a bad thing because it might make you realize how badly you hate doing it????

One I don't work in a fast food place. And two the career I want to go into is far dangerous and has more requirements then a fast food joint
