Hi RedMagic. My first and last name are easily found because that's what I wanted. If I didn't want it there, it wouldn't be there. I own an internet marketing company. Everyone should find me. I really don't care what others do with that information. It's in the public for a reason.

I'm not being clear, obviously. CollarMe profiles are searchable. A client with your photo and no knowledge of your kink interests, could find your CM profile in the amount of time it took me to find your FB page and your blog. So could your underage cousin. The ability to search moves in both directions, not just the one you mentioned.

I imagine you'll say you're ok with that, whether you are or not, because your demeanor is that you are correct, and here to teach all the rest of us -- or at least the male half of the rest of us. So my advice is that you sleep on it, and decide in the morning if that's definitely what you want.

I know when I was searching, using the hard limits list, filling up the likes/loves/lives for equally with predominantly non-kink (but some kink) and using the essay area to talk about the personality characteristics of the person I was looking for (kind, considerate, successful) and the type of person I was (i.e., I love to travel and when I found my man I had trips to Ireland and Disneyland planned, and made mention that while I was an adult woman, I liked to indulge the inner child on occasion) worked well. I presumed that if I was going to meet him here, he was kinky at least a little. We didn't discuss sex AT ALL until I knew whether or not he was someone I wanted to hang out with outside of the bedroom too. But I was looking for a lifetime partner and not something casual.

RedMagic1: Thanks for the feedback. Actually, I didn't see myself as trying to teach you all something. Not at all. I stated a strong opinion coming out of the gate. I can take anything that's thrown at me. If my clients can find my profile on CM, so be it. Again, it really doesn't matter because my income and what I do for a living is not contingent upon what other people think of me. I've been earning a living online since 2008. If my little underage cousin sees me on the internet under Kink, great. I have no shame or embarrassment about what I want or my lifestyle. It goes back to one of my other posts - I'm not going to do something in private, that I'd be ashamed to admit in public. I simply do not care what other people think of me. Maybe that's a good thing - maybe it's a bad thing to some people - but that philosophy has always worked for me. Here are other slogans I live by:

searching: I was thinking about what you said about your having set hard limits initially. I think when I'm new to something, it works best for me when I have hard limits so that I stay on course. Then later, when I feel comfortable and more experienced I may not be as strict. For instance, being on a strict food plan initially works. But as you get used to it, you can relax a little without throwing out the baby with the bathwater.:)

All I can say is that if I owned a business and had a penis I'd stay far far far away from you based off of this rant and your profile. Anal sex is one of my favorite things to give (again, no penis, but that doesn't stop me) and pampering those that I care about is also one of my favorite things. I know certain things about myself, such as I'm monogamous, so poly will ALWAYS be on my hard limit list. I'm also straight and not a masochist either, so things like whips and canes and bisexuality are hard limits for me as well (I don't care who he is or how much money he has...I'm not playing with women). If a guy lives for or loves those things, I knew automatically we wouldn't be a match (and wasn't shy to tell him so either if he emailed me). It really helped in weeding people out without giving a lot of kink detail out to strangers. I'm not ashamed of my kinks by any means. A lot of guys on the other side are just looking for wank fodder and cyber, while I want the real thing in real time. I, too, was looking for a Daddy Dom, and I knew that he couldn't be a sadistic one (neither of us should take pleasure in punishments if the point was correction of behavior).
