Yes, but I was wanting a personalized plan, and they said sorry we dont do that. I didnt get much coaching, but I did get an idea about calories affecting how many carbs I can have. 1,800 for example is 40, 2000 is 65.. And I need to have exactly thafor accuracy of my bs. I cant, or at least I shouldnt be short. Its not good to be. quote:
ORIGINAL: smartsub10 FR~~ Have you seen a registered dietician TFB? When I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes I spent several sessions with a dietician specializing in diabetic diet. I learned a lot about proteins and carbs. Listen to what MAINEiacMISTRESS is telling you. Obviously, she's done some research on this. Changing one's diet often means learning to include foods we aren't particularly crazy about. You have to find ways to like them. It's a matter of good health and survival. I grew up with bad eating habits. My mother didn't have time to cook or plan meals and we ate a lot of processed, sugary, fatty foods. After developing a taste for that it's not easy to break away from it. But, you have to do it.
