One of my fave pet hates is really bad grammar, text speak, chronic spelling, a complete lack of punctuation or a wall of text. Other stupid things like "i" instead of "I"; "im" instead of "I'm" or "I am". People who use a comma (,) instead of an apostrophe ('). Every computer, tablet and phone has these so there is no excuse - it's just laziness or lack of education. That shouts laziness to me because if they can't/won't do things properly, what hope do they have of doing what I ask of them properly?? If they really are that dumb, lazy or think it's 'cool' then they aren't the one for me. Another pet hate (and sorry guys'n'gals, I see it all the time on here and I cringe every time I read it), is the use of the wrong word, typos aside. Things like: there/their, loose/lose, bare/bear, to/too, where/were, whether/weather etc etc. The crazy Anglo-American spelling differences you can make allowances for, but some of the stuff I read on here and other forums/profiles are enough to make me close the window without reading any further. Sure, we all make mistakes and typos but they tend to be a typo rather than use of the wrong words all the time. Another pet hate is..... seeing a virtually empty profile that says "if you want to know more, ask". WTF?? Surely that's the wole purpose of a friggin profile - to tell people about yourself, what you seek, and who would be your ideal person! Sheeesh! I must be having a bad hair day. lol.
