Except that when such reports were made (off topic bullshit being dragged into the thread for the purpose of public attacks), I was told that the thread was unmoderated and deal with it. So, I did. Nice try but the fluid rules are rushing at a break-neck current.

Wouldn't "Unmoderated" mean that the rules, such as they are, are out the window for this particular thread?

That would include "off topic" as well as the 'Calvinball rule'. "...The administration has the authority to handle situations in whatever manner they feel to be in the best interests of the forum, at that moment, in response to that event."

I've still seen a hell of a lot more 'thread drift' on moderated threads than has been zapped here.

As for the "Calvinball rule", that shouldn't apply to this thread.

Of course, I probably shouldn't have made that post because according to some of the people here and on FET, I'm a Mod and according to Davey (not his handle) on FET, I'm not only at least one of the mods, I'm also tazzy and lucy and at least 3 other people as well.

Sometimes, he posts truly ignorant stuff that he read on "The Blaze" or some other kool aid dispensing website that he swallowed whole but I've never known him to deliberately post a falsehood.

Maybe, things shouldn't be so obvious. That's Three lefty posters who are or were mods.

I reported one post on this thread, then closed the ticket myself. It had nothing to do with anyone who is posting at this time... it was about the racial slur. Ene in an unmoderated thread, that shouldnt be allowed, but thats just my opinion. On reflection I closed the ticket and let it go.

I have no idea what post he insists is missing. I could have missed it.
