ORIGINAL: Politesub53 Oh boy, now we are equating car accidents with dropping bombs. This thread gets stupider by the day. How can I put this so anyone can understand...... Bombs are dropped, intending to kill. Cars are driven to get you from A to B. Anyone able to spot that simple difference yet, other than Lucy and I. no I was equating DEAD with DEAD! what's that line from the movie platoon I think it was " all the dead know is it's good not to be dead" tell ya what I think is kind of stupid. that it matters HOW someone died line from another movie, "your fault, my fault, nobodies fault at all, JUST AS DEAD!" Agreed....... You were equating dead from Bombs with the dead from accidents. Bombs.............. Accident.......... Want to play spot the difference with me ? NOOOO sorry that how YOU decided you wanted to see it... as for SPOT the difference, dead is dead, HOW it happens is only something YOU wish to make an ISSUE... according to YOU 44 HUNDRED over 10 years is worse than 44 THOUSAND in ONE YEAR... I exaggerate, its more like 34 thousand per year really but you do make ONE valid point, soldiers get killed by bombs etc etc etc.. which they VOLUNTEERED to face, whereas none of the children killed in auto accidents volunteered for ANYTHING... you like to IGNORE that small point, those men were TOLD UP FRONT what might happen and DECIDED to join up ANYHOW! during the same period 1038 firefighters and 1938 police officers were killed... so almost 3000 police and fire fighters were killed in the same period, making being a soldier in Iraq/Afganistan only a bit more dangerous tell ya what, next dead person you see ASK THEM which they would prefer, to die by BOMB or CAR ACCIDENT
