And Zimmerman didn't even lie about the money - he didn't testify on the subject at all. And to make things even more interesting, he told O'Mara about the money prior to the bond hearing while in jail, and had tried to transfer a large chunk of it to O'Mara, but was rejected because paypal limits transfers to 10 grand. Listening to the jail calls, one can piece together what likely happened (a big misunderstanding between George and O'Mara). George explains in one of those calls that O'Mara told him that money didn't matter, because it was insignificant compared to how much the trial would cost.

Status: offline 		George actually said that Trayvon reached for it, and George stopped him and shot. George never said in any statement to police that Trayvon touched the gun, and there's nothing about how he described it that was impossible. The Defense did quite well demonstrating that in court.

Also, George said that he thought Trayvon saw it. He clearly wasn't sure other than that Trayvon became aware of it. When we reenacted it ourselves to see how plausible it was, the gun kinda jutted into "Trayvon's" leg (ie the person reenacting his part). So it's likely that's how he became aware of it.

It is of course unreasonable for George to have such hyper awareness that he'd know exactly how Trayvon became aware.

It's time to give it a rest I think. Certain posters are going to keep making shit up, the same old shit over and over and we keep going round and round with the same responses. I won't mention the main culprit for these fantasic imaginings but his initials are DK. These people are mostly the same ones favoring some kind of gun control, registration scheme, bleating against SYG, the militia clause in the 2nd amendment means the national guard fantasy, use a shotgun and all the rest if it......blah blah blah......Zimmy acquitted, case closed.

There may be some entertainment value in reading some of these Zimmy was guilty posts but a it's a complete waste of time responding.

See above, that's all that needs to be said at the end of the day. If a potential rapist is chasing me as a teenager at night, boy or girl, I have the right to defend myself. But you can keep making arguments for predators if you wish.


Yes you do have that right, but be very careful. That potential rapist may turn out to be a nervous guy checking things out and he may have a gun and shoot you. And while you were definitely within your rights, you will still be dead. Seems to be a really stupid way to make a point.

Actually from the article this guy can't be trusted to comment either way. But maybe you missed this part at the bottom of the article..
