For the subject of ZImmerman ONLY, we are opening up an unmoderated thread for discussion. The "biggie TOS violations" (Bestiality, pedophilia, etc) are still in effect.(So don't call someone names etc concerning those subjects or find another way to integrate them into the thread.). Otherwise, discuss freely. The other threads with Zimmerman as the topic, or any other topics, still face normal moderation.

Not picking on you, my dearest.

But somehow I'm not getting that a Dr. Z 'yea' or 'nay' will result in 4.5 million foreclosed homes and a like number out of their house otherwise, nor shoving 8.5 millions out of jobs, nor a likewise number into PT work otherwise.

But, this 'Judge Judy' aspect to the proceedings is all encompassing, we can't escape it.

This country is all about priorities, no question.

Who says we are low brow?, just because we have shows such as 'America Lacks Talent!,' 'American Idyll,' 'Who's More Stupid?!', 'America's Most Idiotic Videos!,' 'Bill Mahr,' 'Fox News,' CNN, etc?

This trial shows, in demonstrable fashion, that America 'Get's Serious!' when America needs to get serious, by gosh!

We need a new, encapsulating TV show for all this, to show the rest of the world just how serious we are about Democracy, Justice, house remodeling, inane domestic squabbles on Judge Judy or Jerry Springer, etc. (hence the proposed title; "America Get's Serious!") so that the world can finally take us seriously. This episode would be the pilot program, no question.

my gawd, everytime the camera showed Zimmy sitting in the court.. I could not figure out if he was just sitting there stone-faced or if he was actually sleeping with his eyes open.. I totally suspect the latter..

Innocent till proven guilty, I thought that was a basis of UK law, so yes that means the onus is totally on the prosecution
And they have proven nothing except that Martin is dead and strong indications that he initiated the violence.

Zimmerman isn't credible, so once you discount his claims, there is no EVIDENCE that Travyon Martin is responsible for his injuries, nor that Trayvon Martin or him had any fight.

Go reread all the witness testimony. Not a single one of them identified either party positively. So PERHAPS there was a third party who beat Zimmerman up. There's no evidence to give reasonable doubt to that is there?

Well, I'm glad to see that at least someone else here has taken the same tack as Zimmerman defenders and Bush II Iraq invasion defenders alike.

As in keeping with the geist of 'just shoot the kid!' defenders, I'll dive into the fun and say that a gang of carrier pigeons attacked Zimmerman and T Martin both, but the only question is as to whether Martin or Zimmerman ordered the attack.

Whoever's team can prove who was closest to his truck at the time of the distracting pigeon attack wins.

Slam dunk, as they say.

American Justice awaits the verdict on this crucial question.

I am really goddamn pissed at the faux pas by the prosecutor, not getting the right to remain silent is an indication of guilt according to scotus instruction in the jury instructions.
