The harder forms of breathplay? I get a pretty big rush from it, both during sex and in play. I don't really bring it up with my master, though. We've done some light breathplay, but he's very protective, so I doubt he'd go for anything heavier. It doesn't help that I have mild asthma.
Oh, and certain above-the-waist estim configurations. Estim is probably the only form of advanced play with which I have a fair degree of expertise, so I'm always thinking up weird stuff. I think the stupidest idea I've had was "mobile estim." I wondered if you could set something up which could work across any distance, even if the sub was going about their daily business. My solution ended up involving a 2B, Hamachi, a tethered cel phone, and a laptop backpack, and you could reasonably well conceal the entire setup. It actually worked in some basic tests, though I never tried it while roaming. I'm not sure if Hamachi would be able to maintain the tunnel as the phone was handed from tower to tower. Totally unsafe, of course, considering your sub could be as far as away as you wanted (provided they didn't stray too far from a tower), and you wouldn't have anybody there to monitor the sub or call for help if things go wrong.
I have a frame of reference, though. Whenever I'm confused about whether he'll go for something on the edge, I just remember his reaction when I asked him if I could get a motorcycle. :P
Is it just me, or are subs usually the ones who have the biggest appetite for risky play? There's a specific narrative which makes the rounds in certain circles outside of the world of BDSM where doms (especially male doms with fem subs) are evil tyrants exploiting the vulnerability of damaged subs. I always laugh a little on the inside when I read anything along those lines. In those moments, I always remember all the crazy stuff that went through my head as a teenager, before a dom had even touched me for the first time. I actually thought I was a little crazy for wanting those things, which in retrospect, I probably was.
I think some subs feel a certain kind of invulnerability in the proximity of their dom, especially if they have a strong relationship which makes them feel very safe. I've listened to quite a few who weren't very smart with their calculation of risk.
