The last time my OH used some duct tape for a bit of fun, when it came to peeling it off she damned near ripped her nips off!
After that episode and a shitload of cussing, she won't be doing that again in a hurry thats fer sure!!

The tape is really only usable if you don't need a bra in the first place.

the girl in the vid using duct tape only wasn't that small, I don't think most women that size would go without a bra.. sure, nearly flat girls can go without but if I was that girls size I would not be going braless.. Not that I would do duct tape regardless! ouch! it was just to show Jeff that some women have been brave (& crazy?) enough to do it..

An absolute must, in my humble opinion.

Have to have seams in the back for stockings...

Oh, we're talking bras here. I am a 46DD/DDD, depending on the maker. I think I will go to Lane Bryant later this month and get resized. Got a dowager's hump developing so I need it and a good cracking in the neck.

Thank you Kalikshama!!I. I HATE any type of running because my boobs bounce so much that it hurts!! None of the sports bras seem to stop it & someone said I should try to wear 2 or 3 sports bras at once. Too much trouble!!

Anyone watch "Double Divas"? Great show about two women who run a bra store in GA! I was floored by the number of women who never get the right bra and how much thinner you immediately look with the right bra!

TieMeInKnotts-

Try title9 sports, www.titlenine.com I believe. They used to have a bra called the frog bra that was damn perfect (I used it to hide my boobs when in trsansition, it seriously worked), unfortunately stopped making it. Still, they have a lot of other bras and they rate them with barbells for support (1=light, 4 or more serious support), so you might want to check them out. I would give them a call, they are really helpful; bras aren't cheap, but I found them to be decent quality.

Title 9 also has non sports bras that might fit the bill. They do carry stuff for larger gals, not sure of the full range, but I was/am 40b/c and they had stuff for me so it might help the OP, too.

I wish I could help you, but at a 36G I have a whole different set of problems!

I'm surprised about the padding issue though, I see quite a lot of bras that are moulded - so thick enough not to show nipple, but not so thick as to add much volume.

On the plus side, winter is coming, and nipples don't show through chunky sweaters!

I hear ya.... Hate that most stores seem to feel that if you need a cup size larger than a D you must need a 38 or larger. Christ on a stick! Not everyone with big boobs is fat.

Natori is nice, if you want to spend more money; but in general, I find enough padding to control nipples, with/without increasing size, at JC Penney, and Lane Bryant. I wear what feels comfortably/not granny looking, because the size they tell me, wasn't attractive or correct. M

What has your doctor recommended for Osteoporosis Treatment? Also try yoga three times per week:

Cure for a Dowager's Hump?

A dowager's hump is a severe rounding of the upper back. In older women, it is a sign of advanced osteoporosis, the result of compression fractures of weakened vertebrae. These fractures can be painful, although in many cases there are no symptoms other than abnormal posture. This change is not a "growth" - it is an alteration in the shape of the spine due to weakened, damaged bone.

I discussed your question with Victoria Maizes, M.D., executive director of the Arizona Center for Integrative Medicine. Dr. Maizes said that the “treatment” for a dowager's hump is prevention - taking recommended steps to prevent the bone loss that typically occurs with age, particularly in women after menopause.

However, Dr. Maizes said that there is one treatment that can be helpful for patients who have pain resulting from vertebral fractures. This is a procedure called “vertebroplasty” that involves injecting a type of "bone cement" into the vertebrae to stabilize them. It is usually effective for fractures less than six months old. To determine whether you're a candidate, you'll need spinal X-rays and an MRI or bone scan to identify the fractures and determine how old they are. Another procedure, kyphoplasty, is similar and is used for patients with compression fractures in the lower half of the spine. It has the potential of restoring bone height in the vertebra and reducing spinal deformity.

And a recent study in California showed that a small group of elderly women trained in yoga saw a slight reduction in their spinal curvatures after taking yoga classes three times a week for six months compared to a similar group of women who didn't perform yoga (and who had an increase in their spinal curvatures). The study was published in the September 2009 Journal of the American Geriatrics Society.

While yoga and the procedures mentioned above may help in some cases, in general, I recommend following these preventive strategies for osteoporosis.

Andrew Weil, M.D.

My absolute favorite bra (38ddd for those keeping track) was made by platex. It's the nursing one with the "mind stimulating pattern" in the cup. They gave me a nice '50s shape under my sweaters, and they lasted 5 years of laundry roulette. The ones at the Walmart in the boxes are great, but you have a certain cafeteria lady feel with those. I've done tape before as well (under the right dress,) it's hot as hell, can cause blisters, and the shape is all wrong. But it can and has held up my sweater kittens.

For non-racer-back bras, I've had surprisingly good luck at WalMart. Curvation is surprisingly comfy for a bra with underwires. I also have a Fruit-of-the-Loom, which is not terribly comfy, but is cut low enough to fit under the shirt for which I need it.

Turns out my not-comfy 42 C bra is 1/2" shorter than my other 42 C. I added a bra extender, and it fits much better.

However, I am baffled, because when I measured them, they are both under 34". I measured under my chest, and that's 40".

Bra extender:
