quote:

ORIGINAL: CrappyDom

We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,
    This day shall gentle his condition;
    And gentlemen in England now-a-bed
Shall think themselves accurs'd they were not here,
And hold their manhoods cheap whiles any speaks
That fought with us upon Saint Crispin's day.

Tombstone has to be my fave movie

Memorable quotes for Casino, 1995

http://imdb.com/title/tt0112641/

Ace Rothstein: No matter how big a guy might be, Nicky would take him on. You beat Nicky with fists, he comes back with a bat. You beat him with a knife, he comes back with a gun. And you beat him with a gun, you better kill him, because he'll keep comin' back and back until one of you is dead.

Yojimbo directed by Akiro Kurosawa.
The scene:  wounded and battered samuri, played by Toshiro Mifuni, surrounded by a group of about a dozen armed thugs.
Group of thugs:  "What you gonna do kill us?"
Toshiro Mifuni:  "If I do it is going to hurt".

Memorable quotes for Aliens, (1986)

http://imdb.com/title/tt0090605/quotes

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Ripley: You know Burke, I don't know which species is worse. You don't see them fucking each other over for a goddamn percentage!

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Apone: All right, sweethearts, what are you waiting for? Breakfast in bed? Another glorious day in the corps! A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the corps!

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Apone: All right, sweethearts, we're a team and there's nothing to worry about. We came here, we're gonna conquer, and we're gonna kick some, is that understood? That is what we're gonna do, sweethearts, we are going to go and get some. All right, people, on the ready line! Are ya mean?
Marines: Yea!
Apone: Are ya mean?
Marines: Yea!
Apone: WHAT ARE YOU?
Marines: We're mean Marines!
Apone: WHAT ARE YOU? HUDSON! Get on the ready line, Marines, it's time to die! Get on the ready line! Move it out, move it out, goddamnit! Get hot! One, two, three, get out! Move it out, move it out, move it out! Aaarrrrr, absolutely BAD-assess! Let's pack 'em in!

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Burke: Look, this is an emotional moment for all of us, okay? I know that. But let's not... Let's not make snap judgments, please. This is clearly an important species we're dealing with and I don't think that you or I, or anybody, has the right to arbitrarily exterminate them!
Ripley: Wrong!
Vasquez: Yeah. Watch us.

I really like the dark humor in the Alien movies, such as the
quotes below from Alien 3.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0103644/quotes

Ripley: This is a maximum security prison, and you have no weapons of any kind?
Andrews: We have some carving knives in the abattoir, a few more in the mess hall. Some fire axes scattered about the place - nothing terribly formidable.
Ripley: That's all?
Andrews: We're on the honor system.
Ripley: Then we're fucked.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
[the prisoners hesitate to go against the alien and ask why they can't wait for the company to bring them some guns]
Ripley: Because they won't kill it. They might kill you just for having seen it but they're not gonna kill it. When they first heard about this thing, it was "crew expendable". The next time they sent in the marines - they were expendable too. What makes you think they're gonna care about a bunch of lifers who found God at the ass-end of space? You really think they're gonna let you interfere with their plans for this thing? They think we're crud. And they don't give a fuck about one friend of yours that's died. Not one.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Dillon: You're all gonna die. The only question is how you check out. Do you want it on your feet? Or on your fuckin' knees... begging? I ain't much for begging! Nobody ever gave me nothing! So I say *fuck* that thing! Let's fight it!

LaTigresse -> RE: Manliest Movie Quotes EVER. (3/12/2007 11:01:55 AM)

Doc Holiday to Johnny Ringo: "In pace requiescat."

No strutting, no bellowing, just calm confidence. Gotta love that.

And then, when they finally met to finish it........"It would appear that the strain was more than he could bear."

ShadowSide -> RE: Manliest Movie Quotes EVER. (1/2/2010 9:48:04 AM)

"Great Spirit. Maker of Life. A Warrior goes to you swift and straight like an arrow shot into the Sun. Welcome him and allow him to take his place around the Counsel Fires of my people. Uncas, my son. Tell them to be patient and ask Death for speed, for they are all there but one; I, Chingachkook, Last of the Mohicans."

"It ain't about how hard you hit, it's about how hard you GET hit, how much you can take, and keep moving forward. That's how winnin' is done!"
- Rocky Balboa

"Right now, we are dead. We go into battle, to reclaim our lives! Victory is life!"
- Star Trek

Damn!  I was just thinking of resurrecting this thread myself, when it came to mind out of nowhere, not a couple of days ago!  I love this thread!

I never realized, till it came about, how much a high femme such as I, loves this kind of exchange.  Only, I find most of the time, you have to know the whole scene in context, for the quotes to have their coolness.

"Whatever I do to these people is going to happen to them whether I kill you first or not." Eli Wallach, "The Magnificent Seven."

"I'm saying that Stonewall Jackson was trash himself. Him and Lee and all the rest of them rebs. You too." Jack Palance, "Shane."

"Now there's another thing I want you to remember. I don't want to get any messages saying that "we are holding our position." We're not holding anything. Let the Hun do that. We are advancing constantly and we're not interested in holding onto anything except the enemy. We're going to hold onto him by the nose and we're going to kick him in the ass. We're going to kick the hell out of him all the time and we're going to go through him like crap through a goose! " George C. Scott, "Patton."
