In what fantasy world do you think I'm constantly having problems? I rarely if ever discuss my life here and certainly make sure not to bring up any issues I'm having since dumbasses like yourself would harp on them.

The only possible challenge here would be to decide between whether you suffer from a mental defect, or are just a lying troll. But personally, I don't think it's an either/or question.

I strongly encourage you to either seek counseling from your minister/priest to strengthen your faith or give it up and dump the crazy shit you believe and embrace atheism.

Actually, nj claimed the root of homophobia is in christianity.
No ambiguity - a flat-out statement.
Then went on to justify, by quoting biblical recitations, the base of that reasoning.
No strawman.

K called bullshit.
I stated that in my PoV, homophobia wasn't rooted in christianity and that it existed before the religion.
Then came a few pages of a pissing contest over the one sentance that made that declaration.

nj has since re-declared the same thing using different words - that christianity created homophobia rather than being the root of it. Isn't that pretty much the same thing??

And I have answered that second assertion again with supporting links.


Where the fuck did you get the idea it was a strawman originating from K???
I answered nj directly - nothing to do with K at all.

Just checking: does the bolded part of that sentence mean that you agree that Lauren was talking about predominantly Christian nations? I'd rather ask you, and accept your clarification, than get into parsing sentences, checking with online dictionaries on the rules of grammar, etc, etc, you see.

Interesting observation. For me, the evidence looks pretty damned abundant that the Church has played the role of perpetuating homophobia in just the way most of its critics say. My first thought: fornicating and cheating is 'evil', but homosexuality is 'both evil and unnatural'?
