It is so quiet in here! I think I am going to go inspect more of the sofas and make sure they are up to our high standards of comfort ...

Point out the nice and soft ones to me ;)

I'll be quiet. Sorry for your headache.
I'm having coffee as we speak.
I'm afraid I've become way too addicted.
It's become morning, noon, and night.

The soft couches are along all the walls... Sorry it took me so to answer but, the couch along the left wall has built in massage chairs with heat and I had to test it out and I fell asleep lol ...

(My nephew is now showing signs that he has a cold so we are thinking that this back and forth weather is what caused all his issues... I mean it is currently freaking snowing again! :-(. He has never shown signs of being allergic to cigarette smoke before it was just the only thing we could think of at the time. He is doing better although he is still needing a daily dose of oral steroids in the middle of the night... )

I don't have any cookies Miss Fluff but I do have some double chocolate chunk rice crispy treats...

I am back to finish my sofa inspection for the weekend... I have found a few that need to go! They are hard as rocks and have scratchy fabrics... I guess they could be moved to one of the torture rooms but they don't belong in the break room lol...

Great Thread!

OK, now SweetAngel, where are the rocking chairs with footstools? I have some serious knitting to do. (The boy who was my last footstool decided to quit.)

Hi LadyA!

I'm about to throw my new project out the fekkin window. I chose this lovely soft yarn for a set of baby blankies

There is SOO much fuzz and nubbies I'm having a hard time even finding my stitches.

Ugh.

Won't the fuzz get in the baby's nose, too? Soft is good, fuzz is bad.

My latest project combines a strand of 100% Linen with a strand of 60% kid mohair & 40% silk. It's not really baby blanket yarn. It's for a grown up Grandthing. I hope she appreciates the effort - it cost enough and will take forever to knit.

Ugh. The fuzz is not the kind that will get all over. It's baby yarn. But there are SO MANY strands in the main strand, it keeps separating and the stitches are miserable. I can't get into a rhythm! And the rhythm is what I love so much.

Ok. Done complaining !!

Eta. I love Mohair!!!

LadyAnne, the rocking chairs with footstools are along the right wall near the water cooler... There is a bank of windows that give off great light...

Miss Fluff, yes I have a new title hehehe...

maybe i need a 4 foot square magnet under my chair. to catch any of the tiny quilt needles if/when they fall. i'm determined to get this thing done in the next 3-4 weeks! any chance i could order a small table to spread my quilt stuff out on? and let me know when the rest of the boards have settled down...

Yes, after you hit the 'reverse' switch. We've been wondering what happened to that...
