I have been considering having laser hair removal for awhile. If you don't mind my asking, are the results as smooth and clean as those of the actresses in porn? If so, do these results occur after the time intervals you described in your post? Is there additional maintenance you do at home, i.e. having to shave any individual hair that pops up, or are you left completely bare of all hair growing back? Do you go back to salon at later intervals for touch-ups or maintenance? Sorry for all the questions, but I would appreciate the info you could provide from your own experience. I do understand that individual results may vary. Thank you in advance.

I'll let her tell you about the salon vs home maintenance, but I can tell you:

She is smooth. There are no bumps or marks.
There are no hairs growing back.
She is 99.9% bare and has to shave a dozen of so peach fuzz hairs on the fringe of her labia. The laser just won't remove that.

When I was a submissive, my Dom shaved me regularly, for his pleasure.

To shave or not to shave…

I know I have given him my body to do with as he pleases….so is this just one example of that? Or am I reading too much into the hair vs. no hair thing… Has anyone else ever used this as a method of dominance?

Any thoughts???

Yes, Doms and Dommes use shaving as an assignment to control the submissive's body, appearance and time.

The control over the submissive's time is not so different from vanilla patriarchal couples. The more time a woman has to spend primping, the less time she has to become President, for example.

Just to anyone..., if I may, how many years / months of your life (assuming you shave until you are 60) will have been spent shaving your privates?

So many people, some even with much experience demand a shaved pussy and see it as just a matter of personal choice; especially your Master's. However the fact is that vaginal hair is there for a reason and it is about good health. Vaginal hair keeps bad bacteria away from your vagina. Its function is much like eyelashes. If a woman is clean and attentive to her hygiene, there should be no problem with vaginal hair. This is true for men as well. I often wonder if a Master, who says 'Yuck" about his sub's vaginal hair and would understand a sub who said 'Yuck" to swallowing his cum? I guess in the end, a god Master will choose his sub's well being before his own yuck. But who knows?

We're about the same age and I was told the same. I was shocked about 10 years ago when my sons and daughters talked about manscaping. One of my sons has a hairy chest and the other is virtually hairless. The hairy one felt pressure to get his chest waxed to be attractive to women. I told him to stop rejecting his own body because it is fine as it is and because the women who are attracted to him will love his hairy chest, and the way he looks, feels and smells.

My point is, the younger people seem to have been influenced by advertising campaigns... for douches and scented soaps for crotches and hair removal. I "get" why businesses create a negative so they can sell a product to "fix" it. What I don't understand is why so many people go against nature. If you are a hetero male, why would you want to interfere with a hairy, pheromone-exuding, vulva and vagina? The pheromones enhance a man's ability to achieve an erection. Douches mess up the ph balance, dry things up in there and make it more likely some awful bacteria will grow. Maybe this is why Viagra is so popular now.

So, I see the whole departing from nature thing as serious, serious control, because it does make the body more vulnerable to disease. I don't know if I'd call that dominant, because it make the submissive "less." But, it's definitely control.

Bill Maher says, "Please, please, leave at least a patch, so I know I'm fucking a grown-up!"

ETA - I've shaved and been shaved, too. But, I think women should rock their BUSH! :)

I prefer completely BALD, both for myself. & my Lady!

Visually, I'm proud of my own endowment & truly LOVE seeing her pussy, UP CLOSE & PERSONAL.

Of course I prefer ZERO pubic hair when giving /receiving oral sex, too!

BALD (pubic hair region, specifically) is BEAUTIFUL!

I tend to go for both, like the OP's Master. Depends on my mood, if I feel like I want a change of scenery or if I just want to show my control in another way, although I don't go for the "overgrown jungle" look at all, trimmed or shaved.
It really comes down to His motivations.

He might just be doing it for the hell of it but go and ask him to know for sure.

Laser hair removal isn't the end of shaving completely. It only works on dark hairs because it targets the melanin in the hair follicle. You do have to go back a number of times at 4-6 week intervals. Not all hairs will be in the same phase of growth. The hair must be in a certain growth phase for the follicle to be zapped. Not all lasers are created equal. Some are stronger than others. Not all hairs are created equal. Some are more stubborn than others. My first visit the tech didn't turn the laser up too high to see how my skin would tolerate it and how I would tolerate the pain. I told her I had a high pain tolerance. I did get a little spacey from the treatments. Probably got a little wet too but I tried not to think about that as it would have just made it worse.

I wish she had used the high setting for each visit and I might have a little less growth. Mostly I get some peach fuzz on the inner edge of my labia. It is very light and stays soft. There are also a few dark hairs left (maybe 6) that I could pluck. I would have gone back until these were gone also, but it was a spa at doctor's office and they lost their laser tech. Overall I am glad I spent the money. I do wish I had the money for the electrolysis to finish up the job. So I still shave, but not everyday. If I can stand it, I will go a week and half or 2 to get enough growth to go have it waxed. I love the smoothness of waxing, but only if I'm really busy and don't have time to shave for that long can I let it grow enough. Waxing can be fun at home too if your Master/Dom would like to help. There is no way I could do it myself. I would need at least another hand to hold stuff out of the way, put the wax on, hold the skin while yanking the hairs out. Master enjoys doing it for me sometimes because He knows it hurts. (I will squeak or squeal every once in awhile to add to His enjoyment, its like a game that we play.)

I would suggest not buying a laser package outright if you have sensitive skin. I was told some people have a reaction to the laser, similar to a sunburn. I am very fair complected and burn easily but never had any reaction to the laser. Ok I said ouch once. But again, I had a high pain tolerance at the time. The first time they say have a little hair so they can see the way that it grows. After that, no hair hurts less because it isn't singeing.

Before the laser treatment, I found that I had less bumps when I shaved everyday than if I missed a couple of days. I also used Satin Care in shower moisturizer . No bumps, in grown hairs or rough stubble. I always use good shaving gel and I like Venus razors.

Interestingly enough, crabs, aka pubic lice, has been put on the endangered species list because of all the shaving going on. No joke.

But I think it is a personal preference among Doms and subs alike. Your Dom may be using it as a technique. Or he may just prefer different styles. Who knows. If it doesn't bother you, then I don't see an issue with it. If it does bother you or you have a preference, why not try asking? It never hurts to communicate.

For me, I hair is forbidden from the collar down (oh no beards either lol), just don't like it, not to mention I expect a sub to be well kept and looking good for my eye, and well trimmed just isn't as good. I do however confess I rather like shaving them too, something very empowering about having a sharp blade next a subs pussy, very much a control thing for me. Your master however may wish to stop you from forming habits, keep you on your toes and obeying him, as a previous post has suggested. I personally think routine and repetition is good for a sub, changing expectations could lead to misunderstandings or worse you not knowing whats expected.

Maybe he just has mood swings or likes variety, has he purchased you any wigs? LOL

Overall though, why are you worrying about it, if this is the biggest problem you have with your Master I suggest your not doing badly...... after all its his to choose shaven or forest.....

I've gone both ways and see benefits to both shaving and not shaving. I really HATE having to shave all the time....I think it's a big hassle, and there is less risk of irritation from shaving. Plus, I also wonder about guys who want nothing but a clean-shaven pussy....don't they ever feel weird like they with a prepubescent girl? That would freak me out too much if I was a guy.

But...I also like to be shaved because (whether I really am or not) I *feel* cleaner. Especially during my period....I HAVE to shave then.

I also think it's a big hassle to shave myself and I think it would be very cool to have my dominant shave me.

I'd prefer to be in control of the razor, and yep, a naked tweeter is just too squicky for me.

I prefer to shave, mainly out of comfort. I admittedly bowed to the pressure of being hairless down below and after a while I got used to the feeling. I'd like to think that my boobs, hips, and ass confirm my adulthood despite the lack of hair, and my partners never complain. That said, I honestly don't care what my partner wants to do with his/her body hair. I'll find a way to enjoy myself when they're naked regardless.

I wouldn't want someone else to do it for me though. I'm very particular about who touches me in the first place, let alone with sharp objects close to my genitals.

FR, I hate body hair on myself. On men? Yum fucking delicious, especially facial or chest hair or both. A ridiculously hot German fellow asked me to stop shaving back when I used to and it was a hard limit for me.
Now after the wonders of modern laser technology I have hardly any body hair but what remains is heading to the guillotine. Hopefully pretty soon it'll stop growing altogether.

To have hair is an aesthetic choice I'll never understand. Why wear make up, shave your legs, your pits, pluck your eyebrows, dye your hair, wear nice clothes but choose to look like a hairy monkey when it comes time to get naked and have sex the person you did all that other shit to look good for?

RS- I am usually shaved. But I wouldn't if a guy would still have sex with me.
Because I an overweight and because I have sensitive skin, shaving all those things, sucks ass.

I get cysts and ingrown hairs frequently. If I use the wrong toilet paper, I end up with a yeast infection.
My gyno constantly tells me to stop shaving.

It sucks, I only shave for him, and I would absolutely choose to stop shaving everything because of how awful my skin is.

I don't think the hair/no hair aesthetic is a universal one. I wax because I like how it feels to be hairless and because I feel cleaner, but I loathe the prepubescent look of it.

Have you ever tried one of those home lasers or the NoNo?

Doctor and dermatologist told me it was probably going to give me a rash if my laundry detergent does- but I'm probably going to try one anyway, cause I'm stubborn like that.
