I think it is funny as hell when people can't come up with anything intelligent to say about gun control they pull out the sexual inadequacy bullshit.

Apparently they feel a need to make it clear that they're not "sexually inadequate."

K.

It fits their fantasy image of gun owners.

As it fits your fantasy of masses ready to descend on your guns.

Are we to presume this woman also felt sexually inadequate?: http://abcnews.go.com/US/okla-woman-shoots-kills-intruder911-operators-shoot/story?id=15285605

We all know what would have happened if she hadn't had a shotgun. There is no Star Trek transporter or Scotty to beam police to a home invasion.

I have no idea what *you're* talking about.

I'm simply noting that if it involves guns, Bama and a few others get an erection and feel they're in some battle with people automatically.

And yet, believes "others" have a knee-jerk reflex.

The NRA trains their puppets well.

FR the gunaphobics don't want to address the fact that the cops (who actually studied the scene) say the doctor saved numerous lives

Musicmystery -> RE: Doctor shoots man at hospital (7/29/2014 4:26:57 PM)

Where did you get (read: make up) the idea that " the gunaphobics don't want to address the fact?

BamaD -> RE: Doctor shoots man at hospital (8/2/2014 2:17:22 PM)

FR
As soon as the support of the doctors actions by both the hospital and the police was pointed out the gunaphobics suddenly wanted to talk about their myth of firearms as a phallic symbol, and nothing else.

That was dealt with on page three. Is your memory going?

Not at all, but if you read the thread you will see that the rest of the gunaphobics decided it was time to discuss silly gunaphobic myths.
You also ignored the fact that the man had several gunshot wounds and was no doubt going into shock. You also disappeared prior to the announcement that the hospital is not only not disciplining the doctor but reevaluating their self defense free zone policy.
Something I wanted to ask you.
You clearly, and correctly think that Israel has the right to arm and defend themselves in a hostile and dangerous world, why won't you grant me the same right?

I don't deny you that right. I just don't want you doing it anywhere near me because I generally consider most people to be stupid and unreliable and therefore far too dangerous to be trusted to ever touch a firearm.

So I can have the right, as long as I don't use it?
Same thing since you want to restrict that right to the point that I can't exercise it.
Keep in mind that much as you dislike it ha the doctor not been armed he would have been dead, and so would some of your "brave unarmed citizens".

No. Like I said I'm fine with you carrying as long as you stay far away from me.
And you have no idea what the outcome would have been if the doctor had not been armed. It could have been the same or worse you simply do not know. We do know that shooting the guy did not actually stop him.
