What he said, in not so perfect English (because that's not his native tongue), is that a rather reckless scary act that resulted in a death is usually pursued everywhere else as a manslaughter charge instead of the laughingly "self defense" laws that you have over in the US. His point was that US laws appear to be deliberately written to avoid a prosecution on a manslaughter charge where the same situation would not be considered a self defense plea elsewhere.

Freedomdwarf, I can't generally be bothered to read these weekly 'Let's all rehearse our primary school pro gun arguments' threads these days. The argument being given here is as follows "if you dont like how we do it, then fuck off" and its spouted by those same posters insisting Obama needs to get involved in other peoples affairs. For the record, if I tell anyone they dont comprehend, it isnt because they disagree, its because they dont comprehend.

Oh, he additional defined anyone who didn't think exactly as he does as not worth listening to when he could have just ignored the thread. Personally, I was disappointed the article didn't list the brand of the now or whether he used field points or broadheads.

I'm not a gun control lobbyst, I don't have a personal agenda, so it is just something it puzzles me, like fishing dolphins in japan, I feel free to express my opinions. I was pointing out that homicide is an unlawfull act, and self defence is a justification cause, so if all the prescriptions of the law are not perfectly respected you are committing a crime. In the second part of my post I was pointing out when a man can legally be justified even if there was no actual threat but just a presumed one, the response was not necessary, and there was no proportion between offence and response, there is a very tiny amount of responsibility required for gun owners.
