When not dressed in drag, how do your friends identify? Do they revert back to their *ordinary* selves, or toggle back & forth with ease of transition?

I've heard it said that the difference between a CD and a TG is ten years. Obviously, like all such adages it isn't always true.

I suppose my aversion to sissy behavior is that I find it a slur on being a woman. After all, if having to dress like a woman is humiliating, being called by a feminine name is humiliating, then doesn't the person believe that women are inferior to men? Someone suggested that the humiliation is in being a poor copy of a woman, which is more palatable to me.

Oh and in M/f dynamics, being a brat is often desirable. Not badly behaved but a bit of young behavior. A touch of D/lg if you will.

I was inquiring because you had said you never thought of either of your friends as sissies, and the OP was specific about wanting to learn about sissies and not transgenders.

Oh... I understand. My comment was motivated by my impression that the OP thought "sissy" had mostly to do with men wearing women's clothing. I thought there was more to it than that, and was simply pointing out that clothes don't make the sissy :)

The OP did mention gender roles though, in a way that was unclear to me what was meant, but then the OP seemed to lose interest in the thread and didn't offer any clarification (shrug).
