Seems to me Every lawyer and all businessmen who actually pay their bills know you have to understand the letter of the law and Maybe appear to go by the spirit. As several commentators have observed, the email account is within the rules. Why is anyone bitching about a successful lawyer and wealthy business person doing what the job description says? Like anyone here with a Conservative lean said squat about all the CEOs and NY law partners finessing laws poorly written at their instigation? And Not just stretching them to the limit but completely flouting them knowing little if anything is done about violations? OK, the Justice Dept. is making a few of the more egregiously fraudulent mortgage bundlers give back Some of the profits?
The only real criticism I see that's valid is Anyone leaving paper or digital copies stay in existence of things that could be embarrassing?

this is likely to start showing up all over:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_DCwmYHr-_M

its Hillary complaining about secret emails in the bush administration, which if you believe what dana perino is saying, are not even the same as what Hillary's done.

Let them hang on for all it's worth - which, in the greater scheme of things is not an awful lot.

If this is an example of what the Right feels are the most important issues facing the USA, then Americans ought to be grateful that the Right is making its political bankruptcy so crystal clear.

Oh, and that hacker released....EVERYTHING...as legit? Didn't add anything into the emails, right? Are you....REALLY...that gullible, KenDckey?

Since....WHO...would stand to gain if....something...was added to those emails? It doesn't take a genius on that one. Or it shouldn't....

So, the hacker adds stuff in that is....Juicy....and Delicious....That generates some real fire in the media. But by law, Hillary can not release many of those documents, even if those given to the media are fabrications. Besides, conservatives assume, based on no evidence she is guilty. She has to be guilty of.....something.....doesn't matter what it is.

I keep thinking that this is a set up. Not one conservative on here can seem to reassure me that this is legitimate and NOT a set up? Or that it has....NOTHING....to do with 2016. There is a LONG history of conservatives doing anything and everything to attack the Clintons, both legitimate and not.

Until I see the.....EVIDENCE....that she might have done something wrong, I will consider her innocent. Which is exactly how any....TRUE AMERICAN.....should view the case. Tell me, KD, how many conservatives on this forum are true Americans? That believe a person is innocent until proven guilty? Since it seems most of them are not, because they have an ulterior motive.

I accept your rresponse as theory. Not a problem with anyone having a theory. I didn't say he added/deleted or whatever to her e-mails. Only that he found them. Conversely there is a theory floating that she deleted "embarassing" emails from her server. Only time will tell.

It comes down to the same thing that's been going on for at least 40 years: Hillary and her ilk don't want to play by the same rules by which they demand others play. Really simple.

Last I checked, the Bush family got this nation into three wars. Destroyed two economies. Drove up costs. Increase the deficits and debts. And didnt bother defending the nation adequately.

But lets give a free pass to them, right? Hillary is so much worst....

Your happy to assume guilty before innocence.

Its not theory to accept someone is innocent until proven guilty.....in a court of law! That's not just evidence and fact, ITS THE FREAKING LAW!

The Clintons are lawyers, and will have very good lawyers to speak to. Isn't that what we want to have happen? The innocent are proved right so in court?

No, it isn't, according to the vast and grand majority of conservatives and libertarians. On this board and in America. They see Hillary Clinton as the biggest obstacle to have total domination of the federal government. And will do anything and everything to obtain it. Even if it means breaking some morals and a pile of laws. Anything here that I've said is not true?

Yes, I would like to believe its a fantasy, that conservatives wouldn't do hellish things to secure the White House. But I understand the ideology and zealous nature all to well. I've watched as conservatives and libertarians justify even greater levels of stupidity, anger, animosity, ignorance, and threats of violence towards those that do not agree with them. If ever Tyranny existed in this nation, its well within the conservative/libertarian mindset now.

Don't think I said she was guilty of anything other than not having turned her e-mails over to State and not letting Congress know she had them.

Proving innocence is not always that easy. It is like proving a negative. Proving reasonable doubt is much easier. As to guilt or innocence who knows at this point. The purpose of the thread is to open debate on appropriateness as far as I know.

I haven't seen those posts. I have seen some people who believe it, but I don't take them to seriously. If you have imperical evidence of this may I suggest you turn it over to the FBI for further evidence.

If that were the case, wouldn't it be wise of the FBI to root out tyranny and move forward to prosecution. But I don't really see them locking up people in the media for these ofences.

LOL Lucy I believe almost all politicians, if not all, have secrets. LOL That is why the FBI must investigate each and everyone of them to prove it. Doesn't matter to me if you start with POTUS or the dog catcher.

I don't know that issuing a subpoena will do much good. It happened once before with the Anti-Christ and a federal building blew up, a little while later.

You state it as fact. If so, why didn't DOJ prosecute and why did Obama hire Cheney back to DOD?

I think you can realize KenDckey, that the level of trust between conservatives and liberals have been torn to shreds pretty hardcore. That while this issue could simply be of Mrs. Clinton doing wrong doing with or without knowing. And that if she broke one or more laws, she is allowed a fair court hearing, access to lawyer and trial by jury. Yet, I can also readily accuse 'The Right' of pushing this for ulterior motives and political agendas.

Who gains if Hillary Clinton looks bad? The answer should show any objective person that things may not be as they seem. If Hillary announced tomorrow she was not running for the White House; this issue would die away in less then three minutes. So 'yes', this is....ALL...about politics and intrigue. It has nothing to do with anything that happened under legitimate circumstances.

The level of 'Bullshit' is at an all time high.

Why should Congress see the emails? Last I checked most of them do not have a security clearance. Would you trust someone like Ted Cruz with a security clearance? I sure as hell wouldn't! The point of the matter is the question of 'was there any wrong doing?'.

Lets say for the moment Mrs. Clinton is innocent. Two things....WILL....happen:

1 ) Conservatives and libertarians will assume there is a cover up (based on no evidence or facts)
2 ) Conservatives and libertarians will just look for....something else....to attack Clinton on.

Sadly, there is a cluster fuck of evidence to support both notions.

She doesn't have to prove innocence! She has a 5th amendment right for a reason!

That is a core concept of the United States Constitution! The prosecution has to prove guilt! She is assumed to be innocent until proven guilty, therefore, the Defense doesn't have to do shit, until those accusing her have some stable, factual, evidence.

Of course conservatives/libertarians will say she's guilty; most of them have the entire US Constitution and all the amendments tattoo'd to their back. They just ignore the parts that are politically inconvenient to them in any one debate or policy.

And what do they believe? That's right, EVERYTHING they believe, is based on....NO FACTUAL EVIDENCE! That's why its called a belief, rather than a fact.

The FBI is not a clearing house of total morons like many conservatives and libertarians in American like to think. They are going to go over everything with a fine-tooth comb. Study and make an educated and informed judgement of things to the Department of justice. At that point, it is up to DOJ to determine if there is a case to be made against Mrs. Clinton.

Conservative/libertarians along with Republicans/Tea Party will try to turn it into a political circus (if its not one already). They will try to 'prosecute' things in a 'court' they have created. In this kangaroo court, Mrs. Clinton is guilty! Any actual Americans with a brain above their neck will understand what's wrong with this:

Congress is the....LEGISLATIVE....branch of government; and not the ......JUDICIAL....branch.

Do you have any idea what would happen in this nation, if the FBI and other law enforcement were to actually do that?

The reason why they dont do it, is because they are just as afraid of what will happen as myself! They would rather these idiots go the way of Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann ASAP!

He hired Cheney back to DOD only in your world. Maybe I missed those emails though. I suppose shooting lawyers in the face does qualify as combat experience to right wing Nazi shiteaters. And his 5 draft deferrals would also be military experience by the same route, I guess.

True,

This issue doesn't feel or seem 'criminal' of origin, but of political agenda.

It would be like saying an anonymous tip to the FBI (in the form of a cardboard box with paper in it), showed many of the conservative superPACs and a few political organizations/lobbyists had taken money from China and 'laundered' it. While I wouldn't be surprise by such a notion if it were true, I would need some evidence (in fact, alot of evidence). That each person/organization is innocent until proven guilty.
