ORIGINAL: ChrchofDrk Well that's a loaded question. I don't believe they are. I do believe however that they're on one big power trip where they feel as though they can do anything and get away with it. Sort of "I am the law so bow to me bitch or die" mentality. There's still good cops. But they're being greatly overshadowed by the bad cops. My problem is they can kill someone and it seems to be no big deal. But let somebody kill one of them and there's such an outpouring of grief and sympathy. What makes their lives so much more important? Have you been paying any attention? Even when the cops are fully justified there are protests, rioting, and the DOJ comes in to "fix" the department, often meaning the same thing it does with a dog or cat. Where are the cops lives matter t-shirts. Where are the people blaming every black any time a cop is murdered? Where is anything like the Philly guy who shot a cop in the back of the head and has been invited to speak on his innocence at college graduations. Virtually every person killed by a cop is committing a felony and attacking the cop so yes, their lives are worth less than the cops, or yours, or mine.
