Of course I haven't watched/read the oration. I have no problem with the President speaking at the funeral for a friend of his. I don't think it's the proper platform for an anti-gun political speech, though. If his speech would have addressed racism, I would have no problem with that (unless, you know, he called for more racism as a response, which I don't think he'd do).
