Dear God, some people have waaaaaayyy to much time on their hands.

That's not even half of the video feeds that show up on TWD forum feeds on Facebook.
I enjoy the enthusiasm followers of the show exhibit as they try to reason out what clues might exist to reveal things.

I wouldn't have the patience to go frame by frame to pick out clues. The different assumptions made by various individuals who do, is interesting.

Heh, I follow a number of shows online.
I started I think it was with Rome, then Spartacus, got into the actors and following their other shows, movies, then got into stuf like WD< i follow norman...
GOT is always good for crazy people, the teases the trailers the angst of the books vs the show, i follow Peter Dinklage and Conleth Hill
Supernatural I follow mark shepard(crowley)
Just this morning "Crafty Celts" a company I follow (because I love celtic designs), were showing their latest "Viking" offerings from the tv show.
But the funny thing is I cannot handle reality shows or faux celebs.
I think the only time I ever got upset enough to post about a show was when they cancelled the Borgias.

All time sinks, but enjoyable.
ANd now I have the time to indulge myself and Im making the most of what works for me right now.

Thank you for sharing this, Win. From that angle, it actually makes a lot of sense. Something that hadn't occurred to me at all.

Non comic book readers wouldn't know certain things about Negan's personal code. There have been little glimpses of it in season six (Michelle's finger and Dwight's face) but if they translate some of it to the screen, some of it's going to be way different than viewers have seen before.

My other favorite time sink is Outlander, which I think season 2 premiers tonight.

I can't stomach most reality shows, I'm baffled by the following reality show celebs have and I'm so very hoping we don't end up with one as President. Enough said about that lol!

I prefer JUDGE JUDY.

sometimes it is quite sensible.

Ah - poor Abraham. On the other hand, that video concentrates a lot on hair in front of the eyes. But why assume that a POV camera angle would take that into account? And why assume that the show's makers will follow the book re Negan's personal code?

Still, still - I reckon it'll be Abraham, notwithstanding. On the other hand, we don't yet know that he's actually been killed rather than just knocked unconscious ... do we?

Personal hope of mine. There are certain events that are directly related to how Negan's code has so much influence in what happens to certain characters that it would be a real shame if it wasn't explored. It's actually a part of why he's going to make a more interesting adversary than the Governor ever was. I don't know if it's a direct reflection of Kirkman writing the comics longer by that time but he gave Negan certain facets that are going to make him awesome.

Well, it's a bat wrapped in barbed wire. I'm fairly confident anybody taking several blows to the head with it, full swing, is dead. Plus, all of those Polaroids that Glenn sees of what folks look like when Lucille has finished a job. I'm pretty sure dead.

But Abraham's a very tough mofo, no? *He* could have survived multiple whacks, perhaps?

Downloadable about 1 or 2 am here, then. Well, I'll watch it as I have my breakfast.

The woman playing the lead is a bit of a ditz and it grinds all the Scotsmen I know that the hero is called 'Jamie' (that's such a stereotypical Scots hero's name). But, otherwise, it's all good.

Though, as with all romantic sorts of stories set in the pre-19th century - I'll always wonder how they can have wanted to get off with one another. I mean - think of it: no deodorant, no toothpaste - not even any soap. And bathing was rare. They must have all *stunk*. Eew! Really, no matter how chiselled the man's face, and smouldering his eyes; no matter how delicate the woman's lips and gentle and angelic her countenance ... what does that matter if each has bad breath, stinky armpits and evil-smelling groins?

[:D] I can't argue with you on any of the above. This is why I happily compartmentalize my logical side and let myself just bask in the chiseled yumminess.

lovmuffin -> RE: The Ultimate Season Six thread for The Walking Dead (4/10/2016 11:41:44 PM)

TWD season 2 spin off, Fear The Walking Dead aired tonight. It was a little boring but left us with an interesting cliff hanger. At least we don't have to wait a whole freaking 8 months to see what's going to happen.

WinsomeDefiance -> RE: The Ultimate Season Six thread for The Walking Dead (4/11/2016 7:24:23 AM)

I enjoyed episode 1 of season 2. The characters were so unlikeable in season 1, I found myself cheering for the Walkers! Ever so slowly, I find myself warming up to a couple of them. The action, suspense and characters aren't on par (yet) with what I've come to expect from TWD creators. I'm hopeful however. And Amen to the cliffhanger situations!
