My Dad used to say............you can hang a murderer; you can jail a thief; there is very little you can do about a liar. Well, technology has caught up with that statement Bama............you just put 'em on hide or ignore *smile*

No, but they are the by-product or forerunner of crap

True.

But you know the old saying

A lie gets half way around the world before the truth gats started.

There was the ccw holder who stopped that,

Was the ccw holder a law abiding citizen defending himself?

but they need to find some difference, any difference to which they can credit the outcome.

The difference being that the two shooters involved were equally armed.
The attacker was not operating from a "fortified position".
The defender was able to neutralize the threat with a less than lethal gsw.
How does that change the narative?

Maybe the temperature was different.

Maybe your head is up your ass?

That's right the shooter was black and so unlike the terrorist he didn't really want to kill people.

How did you arrive at that moronic conclusion?

And it was white societies fault that he did it in the first place, and the ccw holder wouldn't have needed a gun if the man who couldn't get one legally didn't have one so if we had just not given out ccws and not let the ccw holder have a gun things would have been completely different. Then lets see what else can we come up with that would obscure the fact that this didn't turn into another massacre because of the ccw holder.

How is it that in your feble mind a barroom brawl and a mass murder are the same?

You know the double edge sword of trying to be political correct towards Muslims and not make them feel discriminated, and also in a total freedom of speech world is exactly why FBI had zero power to take action against Orlando Shooter, despite him saying alot of implicating things that caused FBI to monitor him for potential terrorist attempt in the first place!! I think that must be the most frustrating thing, even for the FBI's, when another incident happens, they were powerless to protect their people and haul in this dude! As until he actually took action of his words, I guess nothing can be done.

In my country, the total opposite happens.

A man is arrested and charge for encouraging violence against the LGBT community. And all he did was post this message on FaceBook. I think this is great! It clamps down on anybody even suggesting violence towards any minority groups.

“I am a Singaporean citizen. I am a NSman. I am a father. And I swore to protect my nation,” the 36-year-old Lim wrote on Jun 4. “Give me the permission to open fire. I would like to see these £@€$^*s die for their causes.”

And this will be his punishment.

For communicating an incitement to violence via the Internet, Lim could be jailed up to five years, fined, or both.

Our Law Minister's reaction to Orlando Shooting:

it looks like the gay community has been targeted. This is unacceptable. Violence against any group and any form is not acceptable. Here, the Government will act decisively, if there is threat or violence against anyone or any group.

The Government's duty is to protect everyone. Their race, their religion, their sexual orientation - these are not relevant in terms of the Government’s duty to protect. We have a duty to protect everyone.

You have told us many times that you prefer to live in a dictatorship...so what's new?
