Mass shooting at Ohio St leas to calls for tighter gun control from all the usual suspects. Only problem was he had a knife, the only one with a gun was the campus cop who stopped him. One of the first to make the call do to what he called a "mass shooting" came from Tim Kaine.

10-year-old suspended for making fingers into shape of gun
Dad says he was "goofing off" with friends
Suspension happened under Ohio's "zero-tolerance" policy

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/crime/king-3-white-men-shot-6-cops-3-white-men-trial-article-1.2863131
7th november2016
Over this past week, more than any week I can ever remember, the United States is having to face its true demons with white violence, white supremacy and police brutality. While the racist stereotype of American violence continues to be that of a young black man in a hoodie, the reality on the ground simply looks so much different.

Two Iowa police officers were killed early Wednesday in a pair of ambush-style murders. Before the suspect was identified, some people rushed to social media to blame the Black Lives Matter movement. The accused killer turned out to be a Confederate-flag-waving supporter of Donald Trump, white man named Scott Michael Greene. Just a few weeks prior to the shooting, Greene had proudly placed a Trump placard in his front yard. A week before that, he was kicked out of a local high school football game for waving a Confederate flag in the face of black fans.

On Friday, two more police officers were shot outside of St. Louis, Mo. by a 52-year-old white man named Noel Kuebler, Jr. after an armed standoff at the mobile home park where he lived. Unlike the shooting in Iowa, both officers survived.

On Sunday evening in rural Georgia, it happened again. Another angry white man ambushed law enforcement officers. Ralph Elrod, seeing and hearing his black neighbors ride around on 4-wheelers, reportedly decided to leave the house and threaten to kill them. When the neighbors called authorities, Elrod fatally shot one deputy and seriously wounded another, officials said.

Wouldn't it have been nice if the many others school killers were forced to use knives instead of AR-15's?

Good thing he had a small car.
Like the gun laws saw to it that this is what happened in France.
ISIS is telling their followers to use knives and cars, I guess they don't want people killed.
As usual this happened in a gun free zone.

Yeah, gun free zones are dumb. It is like putting up a sign that says :
"ROB ME, KILL ME" with impunity of course.

Now wait a while ad we'll get reports on how many of these killers were on psyche drugs and couldn't buy a gun anyway under existing law. So the answer is always more laws of course.

I would rather put up a sign says :
"EVERYONE HERE HAS A GUN AND THE PLACE IS ALMOST NEVER EMPTY, TRY IT MOTHERFUCKER".

You guard your money with guns but not your kids. Try to get a bank or diamond exchange, or even a pawn shop to give up their guns and see what happens. Bottom line is that the money is more important than the people. Even soldiers, it is a really bad black eye that there have been shootings at military bases.

Make some more laws for people to break, go ahead. Usually you go to court all but one of the charges are dropped. Which one depends on your lawyer and whatever happened. So you can have ten gun charges against you and only get convicted on one. So make more laws. Fill the jails with law abiding Citizens and then the cops will have nowhere to take the criminals, ad that suits them just fine because later they get another chance to shoot them. When talking real criminals I am all for that. We pay them like a hundred grand a year to shoot people, get busy, just shoot the right people. No more pussyfooting around.

T^T

ETA a very important "N".

And what we have here is a blatant case of the anti-gun crowd having prepared releases and being in such a hurry to release them that they didn't even wait long enough to find out what happened when it turns out the attacker didn't even have a gun. And this group included the man we were just saved from having as VP.

Really it's just sad that for gun control or not you all think you can exploit tragedies to use as proof for your political ideologies.

I was pointing out how many people couldn't even wait for the bodies to get cold (although the only fatality was the attacker) to try to take advantage of this for their political gain.
In't it allowed to point out how politicians were doing exactly what you claim I am. Look at my original post, I was talking about how these people were using this for political gain and made fools of themselves.

Just goes to show why we need greater control over our borders and vetting for those who come from nations where the ideology is hostile to the western way of life.
Funny how its being labelled a "violent act" by the media - even though the 18yr old who did it is from Somalia and has ties to radicalization....

It isn't radical Islam unless he has a note from ISIS. Having said that it does look like a radical Muslim although he doesn't seem to belong to any organisation. And no, I don't think every Muslim is a terrorist.

He didn't have any ties... where did you get that information?

Everything I've read says he was worried because of how the media is portraying Muslims and said he didn't feel safe praying... they're calling it 'self-radicalization'. How are you going to control people with no history or known inclination to commit violent acts??

If anything, this is a reaction to the climate created by Trump and FOX news.

Self-radicalization is when someone with no direct ties to any terrorist organization decides to carry out an attack... Dylan Roof was the same. He wasn't a member of any radical right-wing group, but his attacks were racially motivated.

And okay, so what 'media' do you think that the attacker was so upset about?

Obviously the attacker himself is to blame, but it seems pretty obvious to me that he was deeply affected by the ways in which Trump has already made America great.

He is to blame for his actions, but of course it is Trumps fault and he was fighting back against all of those racist laws that Trump has already passed.

You are a member of the KKK, but of course you only hate Muslims and not other minorities.

How does that straw man suit the king of straw men?
