So why hasn't Trump cut off US imports of oil from the terrorist House of Saud? or cut off Israel entirely? No, in fact Trump has upped the anti for more US tax dollars to increase "defense" spending, which actually means more gifts of armaments to state terrorist Israel and state-sponsored terrorist House of Saud and the Wahhabis, with hundreds of millions in sales of jet fighters and artillery and ordnance and guns and ammo. Trump has made a career of putting other people's money where his mouth is, so you think he's going to cut that off? Yeah, like that's going to happen.

I don't want to do those things. I just don't see why anyone should be allowed to drive a car powered by Saudi oil, now that other options exist. Teslas would be affordable if economies of scale got working and they were basically the only option.

Your calling Tesla he is even more telling. Yeah, the company was named after a man, but he's been dead since 1943. Perhaps their cars will become more popular on their own, looking at their stock prices, a lot of investors think so. In the meantime though, we use more oil than we can produce, and Republican policy has been to oppose anything that moves us away from oil, or even make cars more fuel efficient so they use less oil.
